Incredible player and a versatile one. He reinvented himself after injuries stroke him! Underrated on ball defender.
ОтветитьIm out here searching each player from the Bulls 98 roster. Glad I crossed to this Ron Harper video.
ОтветитьNeed his layup package on 2K. That 360 layup he did on the defender coming down the left side of the court, was nasty. I use to practice that move, when I was a kid. Lol
ОтветитьSalute Ron Harper aka Hollywood Harp... very versatile and athletic and even after his injury in 1990 he still came back and averaged 18 to 20 points a game. Came to the bulls to play with his buddy Scottie played a different role and won chips. and two more with the lakers. very high basketball IQ and under rated in my opinion
ОтветитьGreat work piecing as much of his highlights as you could find on Harp. One of the most underrated players ever. Never got the full recognition when he was a top 2 guard in the league, and rarely had the spotlight as the Bulls X-Factor in their 2nd 3peat. And a classy guy to boot!
ОтветитьHe was a beast prior to the knee problems, loved his game!!!!
ОтветитьUnderrated to the fullest..he plyed his role good im the bulls all of them did..real profesenails ...cauze he had gameeeee
ОтветитьIt’s a crime that he was never selected as an All-Star...
ОтветитьAnytime people say Jordan played a bunch of stiffs, show 'em this link. League was no joke.
ОтветитьIt's unfortunate but Ron Harper will always be underrated because of his injuries. The only had six healthy seasons during his prime between the ages of 23 and 30 😒. it's incredibly on schitt's say that he was even trying to be like Mike he was too busy competing against Mike. I've watched games with run habakkuk Michael Jordan all he can handle. I've seen how about school Michael Jordan in the playoffs. I had the VHS tapes to prove it. He was shaping up to be an incredible 2 way player. The type of to wait playing that could guard Jordan on one end and give Jordan trouble on the next. It's inaccurate for anyone to say that he was trying to mimic Michael Jordan, when in reality all they had in common was that they both idolized Dr J . A matter of fact is that Hopper was compared to Doctor J when he was drafted. and dr. J himself said that one played against played against Ron Harper that's when he (Dr J) knew he had to retire.
ОтветитьGreat Player!!!
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the beat
ОтветитьPre Injury could have been Top 20 guards of all time. Post Injury a poor mans Michael Jordan.
ОтветитьWho else is here from Instagram
ОтветитьCuando lo veía en los Bulls pensaba...madre mía un anotador con Jordan!!!
Un ejemplo a seguir de jugador que ama el basket y quiere ganar
Nice highlights of basketball player Ron Harper. Ron played basketball for my hometown Cleveland Cavs. I was mad when Cleveland traded Ron to Los Angeles Clippers for Danny Ferry and Reggie Williams. That was the worst trade in Cleveland Cavs history. Cleveland should've kept Ron until he retired. I like Ron basketball teammates Brad Daugherty, Mark Price, Larry Nance.
ОтветитьI still recognize him as a Cavs legend they should not have traded him for Danny Ferry!!!!
ОтветитьBefore his injury Ron Harper was the truth, nearly, Jordanesque!
ОтветитьThis man was a incredible player that could score on you and defend with the best of them so I am glad he deserves the credit he gets in his career. And on a side note I have a you tube channel type in Russell Mills May 22, 2017 to find me.
ОтветитьI wish these weren't all under the basket view highlights
ОтветитьI know when ur sisters a playboy model and ur older siblings are symbols of super freak athletes u should be a poster boy right
ОтветитьSo why is doc Ellington thinking worms Armageddon relates to Dennis rodman if it’s for ms dos?
ОтветитьThis guy was pure talent but never made a single all star. Tells you alot about how much talent was in the nba back then
ОтветитьAs a Bulls and MJ fan, when MJ matched up against Ron Harper it was a stalemate.
ОтветитьHarper would have def been better if he did strength training. Too skinny.
ОтветитьHe was really Smooth with his moves
ОтветитьI will never forget how dangerous this dude was Well you see where he ended up that says enough
ОтветитьThis guy is better than jordan on 2k
ОтветитьRon harpers greatest asset was his defense.. that dude could lock up anyone .. great player ..
ОтветитьSome players just have that extra quality which makes everything they do on a basketball court seem smooth ...
ОтветитьHis a legend
ОтветитьAlso a great defensive player
ОтветитьRON "HOLLYWOOD" HARPER USE TO GIVE MJ THAT WORK ON THE REGULAR!!
ОтветитьRon Harper was nice hands down.
ОтветитьLike Gerald Wilkins, a very underrated athletic player who actually stood the best chance of defending MJ in the late 80s.
Ответить"Another unskilled player from Jordan's era" - Anthony Edwards
ОтветитьI feel like I'm watching highlights of myself ! This is the way I liked to play. With athletic flair, creativity, having fun with your skills ! Ron Harper, Michael Ray Richardson, Earl "Pearl" Monroe, Sidney Moncrief, Tracy McGrady, Larry Kenon, Reggie Theus, Steph Curry, and Downtown Freddy Brown ! Just a few of the guys I've enjoyed over the years.
