I'm a cradle Catholic and I'm not sure where you get that Catholics don't trust the bible but this is false.

I would argue that having multiple translations, which often say completely different things in the same verse, makes it nearly impossible to determine what God is truly trying to communicate. This situation inevitably leads people to rely on the interpretations of pastors, preachers, or scholars who've also relied on other men's interpretations (aka traditions of men) because they can't be sure on their own.

And if they instead rely on their own subjective understanding, they face the challenge of verifying if they're truly right, as modern translations don't offer the same consistency as the KJV. Obviously, nothing wrong with depending on man. The issue is the plethora of verses which contradict their doctrine.

Heres my input on the subject. The bible in the book of Timothy says "study to show thyself approved unto God. A workman that needeth not be ashamed. Rightly dividing the word of truth". Now having said that ( or quoted). Whether you read the kjv or any other translation. If you read and study and seek Gods will. It shouldnt matter what translation you read. God will reveal the truth to you. Its all in your level of understanding. Now, having said that. I believe the book of Mathew says. That theres no way that the word of God can be understood by anyone. Even if theyre a fool. Need not err therein. I believe wholeheartedly. That theres NO TRANSLATION that can satisfy the human mind completely. Thats why when we study. We study by invoking God into our study for truth. No matter the translation in front of us

Christ never once claimed to be God nor did his disciples. Book of Enoch found in the Qumran caves makes a separation between the Son and Father. The Authorized Bible, LATER named the KJB, is SUCH a blessing to me and COUNTLESS millions, BILLIONS over the hundreds of years! The modern Bible perversions came about as a RESULT of the Westcott and Hort corruption, that NEVER BEFORE EXISTED, in the 1800's! Westcott and Hort used the Gnostic gospels and texts of Alexandria Egypt, home of Gnosticism and Luciferianism, Kabbalah and Ancient Jewish Mysticism and Occult knowledge, Freemasonry. The SCHOOL of ANTIOCH was APPOSED to the School of Alexandria Egypt!! The Authorized KJB used the Textus Receptus or Received text, proven to be passed down and passed down from the early church believers to US!! Don't knock it! I've read the Authorized KJB since 1980!! Almost 45 YEARS. The modern Bible perversions CHANGE the meaning of the words of GOD, AND cause confusion in the body of Christ!

this guy is nuts. read the letters of wescott and hort. all new translation primarily use two manuscripts (sinnaticus and vaticanus) both catholic.

“The KJV has errors” yeah, tell that to a people who lost their lives for translating the Bible. It doesn’t matter what version of the Bible they died for, but they died for having a Bible translation in their own language. Sure, it has errors in translation but that includes the others as well. If you don’t want to read a translation read the original languages of the Bible. I know you’ll say you’re not against the KJV but at the same time you ridicule it. Have you mad a video on the Textus Receptus. Do you receive the TR or choose the Critical Text?

You wouldn’t have this attitude if you lived in those days as a peasant/unlearned who would appreciate and even give their life for it not as imperfect translation, but as the Word of God that gives life and hope. I saw through the irrational and illogical "belief system" of the KJV onlyites pretty quickly after I b3came a Christian back in 1996. I had one of them try to shove that stuff down my throat. His case didn't make much sense to me then, and thankfully it motivated me to research and study the transmission of the Bible while I was a fairly new Christian. A few years later I started getting some training at a Bible Institute, and they were KJV only. As a fairly new Christian I was able to out debate them on the topic. Not because I was a genius or anything, but like you said, their belief is simply irrational.

I tossed all the others aside from the KJV. Most of them felt satanic. Having a bunch of translations is like Babel and knowing the translators of many of them, no thanks.

Cause those of us who can know full well that translations are very iffy. The best odds of getting the real meaning is to have as many sources as possible for comparison.
Good example: you wouldn't believe how many times I watched foreigners teach Americans bad words and insults instead of what they asked for. I obviously always corrected them lest they got out into the world hurling insults at strangers with a big friendly smile on their foolish faces.
