HBO Max’s versatility of content is astonishing. Amazon’s Prime Video is arguably the only app which competes with it for versatility. Even there, HBO Max has a pricing plan that is a huge argument in its favor over Prime Video. With HBO Max, the consumer does not pay for content individually. Rather, pay a blanket price for the app, and then individual products are click and watch. It is Netflix with evergreen solid brands. It will be interesting to see how AT&T’s sale of WarnerMedia to Discovery affects HBO Max.

There should be a provider with only live news and sports, that's the only live content I need. Then I could get more on demand services.

I wanted to add to my original comment, but can't find it. One thing you did not take into account for paid TV; cable, satellites etc. is the ability to fast forward through commercials. I almost feel it is worth the approximate $1.50 I pay per day with Dish to do that. Please let me know how I can do that with streaming network services? Maybe a personal DVR? I only have about 13-15 local antenna channels, and my antenna does not work well in my living room as it does not have any windows nearby.

My reason for wanting to cut cable is to make a Big savings in monthly cost, not just saving a little....so for me it will be Philo and Netflix which will get me at about 35 a month...plus adding channels like Pluto and other free content will be more than enough stuff to watch. I usually use Hulu the most but the original content on apple+ has been great recently.

If I had to choose just one, it would be Netflix. Second preference is Prime, then HBO Max.

Seems to me that you're having to purchase multiple streaming services to get everything that comes with a all-in-one service such as Spectrum or DirecTV (if you pay for HBO or other premium). And the total costs seems to be pretty equal as well. Also, with the "cord" options, I can see one guide showing all channel programming. If I have multiple streaming options, do I have to launch each streaming app to see what's on?

I don’t have cable or an antenna I use prime and HBO max as my main services peacock for nbc shows and sports and wrestling haystack news for local and world news and nfl app during football season. Serves my needs perfectly

I had HBO, Netflix, Disney, epix and Starz. Now I have HBO and Netflix and looking for better stuff

For the ultimate bundle, here’s what I’d do in 2022:

HBO Max ($15/month)
Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ Pack ($14/month)
Paramount+ Premium ($10/month)
Discovery+ Premium ($7/month)
Netflix Standard ($13/month)
Philo TV ($25/month)
Peacock Free Plan ($0/month)
Pluto TV ($0/month)

Total comes to $84 per month, for all this entertainment I think it’s a good value.

I use internet for Roku and have Paramount+ and Amazon Prime more than shipping. We also use an antenna. I can't afford anything more.

Can I record and fast forward if I get Hulu ? I have Xfinity now and pay over 150.

I give think this gives a great idea for content to watch but I'm really looking into commercial free only yeah I'm one of those I do not will not and cannot have commercials.....

And PS that does not mean advertisements can't be there I just like them kind of in the content itself for a Split Second

I have a few streaming services and an OTA antenna for free live TV (57 digital channels). I am a single person so can't share with anybody else, no other family members.
Streaming I have: HBOMax, Disney+, and Netflix as my choices right now.
I am a member of Prime mainly for the shipping so the Video portion comes along with that package. I order some stuff on Amazon Prime from time to time.
I know prices are continuing to go up on everything, so my items may change in the future.

I have Netflix which I'm thinking of getting rid of. The selection of movies is really going down. I have Prime. So the bundle I would like. I have Peacock premium and want to get HBO Max and Apple Tv.
