It said his car was going 20mph. But when I saw the picture of the car, that's a hell of a lot of damage for traveling at that speed. Also cars of the 40s were all metal.

Occam's Razor rules sez Patton was whacked for all the secret government reasons. It's probably not conspiracy. Patton could have become a POTUS. Unlucky is also an option.

Considering all the secret underhanded dangerous plots and stunts that took place during WW2, whacking Patton is an easy theory to accept.

My beloved uncle Max,(RIP🇺🇸) was at Bastogn serving as a scout for Patton in the third army...He was overheard saying that when he was torn up with German shrapnel, the bitter cold froze his many wounds and, saved him from bleeding out...🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🕊️

If Paton was a Democrat then he was murered, Democrats generally kill their own if they don't tow the party line as we saw with Kennedy.

More questions than answers about the death of Patton.... there are many reasons to have him murdered in the eyes of the US Government, which, through many, many cases brought up - JFK, Epstein are the first two that come to mind, but, that's just the tip of the iceberg...

The "slapped soldier" was NOT suffering from combat fatigue.
He had tried to escape combat duty by inserting a piece of soap into his an us. This caused a fever.
Patton didn't want him in with the wounded heroes,...and I agree with him.

The idea that Patton was murdered is just insane and the idea that the U.S./Allies could/should have fought the Russians back to Moscow is only slightly less crazy. This is just a Far Right trope that keeps getting recycled for the generations. The Allied armies were VASTLY outnumbered by the Russians and were running short of riflemen. American soldiers of WWI were registering for the draft in 1943 and '44 in the U.S. because of this shortage (to fight the Germans, never mind the Russians!) in 1944, the British army was folding its regiments because it was being bled white, a few million French soldiers were still being used in Germany as slave labor, and Germany and Russia themselves were chaotic wrecks in Spring 1945.

Where else were the Allied soldiers going to come from? Turkey was neutral and remained that way despite Churchill's best efforts and China was losing to Japan. The problems with U.S. replacement soldiers in 1944 and '45 and with the Sherman tanks' lack of armor alone were scandalous enough to make furthering WWII with a lunge at the Soviets a lunatic idea. Patton was a brilliant general and a Great man for what he trained himself to do. He was also a brilliant scholar, but again, only of military history and theory -- not of anything else.

Anybody who thought he was electable never heard the man speak. Forget for a minute his slapping hospitalized soldiers: His thoughts on Jews, Blacks, his own fighting soldiers (he said several times that the dumb soldiers died and the smart ones lived), Eisenhower and continuing the war were enough to guarantee that he wouldn't get elected to ANYTHING. People who confuse his "popularity" with soldiers ignore that he was only questionably popular with his own men, who often despised him for his ruthlessness and swearing. Men of the First, Seventh and Ninth U.S. armies resented the Hell out of his vainglorious ways. The British command despised him. Churchill, Ike, Bradley and Marshall respected but also mocked him.

Patton was also a lifelong, polo-playing and yacht-sailing rich man via inheritance, not an especially popular thing to be at that (post-Depression) time.

Patton, the victim of an assassination? Junk. Don't waste your money or your time with it.
