Sharing solutions is always great❤❤❤
ОтветитьThat slide hammer is genius even though it's a lot of effort for a single use. The bearing is already gone, I think welding directly onto it would have worked, although you can't really see on the video how small the space is. Heat would expand the race too, but wait for it to cool down before trying to pull it out.
ОтветитьAll that work is crazy- just put a piece of metal in and weld to old bearing race - pull it out in four minutes total- you would be fired for wasting time- I’d have the job done before you drilled the hole
ОтветитьBetter to use wax stick
ОтветитьThey have a tool that's like an easy out but with a hole and a grease zert.
ОтветитьBrilliant I say. Brilliant.
ОтветитьOn the "slide hammer", I would have stopped at the cross piece and thread a bolt through an inverted "U" to use as a puller.
ОтветитьIt so sexually suggestive the way he greases up that bearing.
ОтветитьSlide hammer was brilliant.
ОтветитьYou can get a slide hammer for free from a parts store
ОтветитьBrilliant..
Ответить👍👏👏
ОтветитьHand practice
ОтветитьVery clever, but a lot of work considering how inexpensive a decent blind bearing removal kit costs.
ОтветитьUsing grease, perfect diameter solid pipe and a heavy duty hammer did it!!!
ОтветитьWonder bread works just as good as the grease. a little grease down in there first and then start shoving in the bread. it's less mess
Ответить❤👍👍
Ответитьlooks satisfying
ОтветитьEstupidicimo su video...🤪
ОтветитьFantastic if you work for yourself or your boss doesn't mind you fucking off for 4 hours.
ОтветитьBlind bearing puller is so much easier and neater.
ОтветитьBeads cheaper
ОтветитьWhy not just use the puller after the first round of grease
ОтветитьWow awesome ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьBread
ОтветитьWet paper towels or toilet paper.
Ответитьдиск от болгарки в лицо не прилетал?
ОтветитьReally amazing creativity how humans are just infinite potential
Ответить"When you get a welder"
ОтветитьThat's not a bearing puller, it's a bearing "race" puller and they already manufacture these. You can get them at harbor freight for less than what you spent on materials. You've taught us nothing but how to waste time, 0/10 for your "hack". Better luck next round.
ОтветитьPacking grease first, punch with anything round but solid that has a fairly tight fit to the inner bearing shell and hit much with hammer, HAS NOT FAILED me 1 times in 40 years
ОтветитьWorks also with bread😜
ОтветитьOne problem with this slide hammer is it is limited to nearly one size. Great ingenuity though. Acetylene torch is easier and faster if you don't gouge the bore. Sometimes welding a bead inside the race can pull enough to relieve the interference.
ОтветитьI remember learning this trick about 20+ years ago, used many times. My father read about it in a 1950s mechanic book how to remove these types of bearings
ОтветитьHyvä idea. Pitää kokeilla😊
Ответитьசிறப்பு👍
Ответитьweld it and go to beer.
ОтветитьOr you could just buy the proper tool. My bearing puller was about 30 quid.
ОтветитьPlease wear some gloves.
Ответитьi use bread
ОтветитьUse wet toilet paper instead of grease. Much easier clean up.
ОтветитьWhat about an inside bearing puller and grease is very expensive to waste ,,😄🇨🇦
ОтветитьCan also use bread
ОтветитьBread works too
ОтветитьHé doe's the same with his wife😢
ОтветитьNot innovation, there's an invention !!! WOnderfull !
ОтветитьBullshit why you pulling the new bearing? Just show the old rusti bearing
ОтветитьVery impressive, you are a resourceful guy.
ОтветитьRun a weld bead in the groove of that race and it will FALL OUT!
ОтветитьSo this whole vidio is to show us how much time you have on your hands when you turn a 3 min. Job into a 3 hour job😅
