Here's a theory: It is Trump who's behind Musk's 'Kill the Bill' messaging. This in effort to force much deeper cuts in the bill and hence further promote the spending Trump would like to see with his administration's agenda (Tax Breaks). Of course, this would include Medicare and Trump does not want to be seen as the villian to the public nor to the GOP, therefore using Musk to mask such a push toward deeper cuts (which have become difficullt to materialize through DOGE).

WRONG. Elon Musk spoke out in an interview where he said he wanted to do away with the tax credits. He also posted on X that he also said that Fed govt should do away with oil/gas subsidies. Doesn't TYT agree with that?

Office of Congessional Budget deficit estimates are not accurate on 10 year projections. Short term projections of deficit are accurate for year term but not for 10 years so is nonsense to make public discussions without a disclaimer. Long term estimates for deficits from 5- 10 years are not accurte!!! This why when journalist do not do their homework people think the news is always accurate which it is not!

I don’t understand the opinion of TYT on this story. You’re critical of Musk for opposing a bill that you also oppose then credit it to his lust for liberal backed EV tax credits, because billionaires gunna billionaire even though he has been very vocal about not wanting them for many years. Sure there is good argument that SpaceX and Star Link will have an unfair position with getting government contracts, but those businesses are 10 years ahead of any of their competitors and the notion that HughsNet or Boeing have a chance of fulfilling the governments need for satellite connectivity or ISS logistics is laughable. Lots of reasons to dislike the man but he was the vocal opposition who is 100% the reason the bill will fail in senate. Seems like a bad time to take a jab, especially one that is so easily searchable. He was against EV tax credits way back in 2021.
