First off greek mythology is complex, because what does that even mean? Are we talking about the Greeks or about which state that we call Greek now. Also some of this is Roman translations, but if you were to call Athens greek at one time you would be shot with an arrow 😂. I know I sound like a true hipster here but when people ask questions like I thought this was so and so kid, well what people did the story come from. Case in point zeus was a title dio was his name, poseidon was zeus of ocean, and Hades was zeus of the underworld. Poseidon was God of the ocean but hekate was the goddess of the dark water. We call this ocean now or blue water or deep sea, ships did not go that far out and still few navy's have the fleets to do this. This is still a big deal.
Also nyx was not the goddess of the night bad translations she was the mother of sleep, dreams, fates, prophecy, if you looked up and and saw the stars, planets, constellations that was hers gravity the galaxies her husband was ebrus the incompassing the dark(like a black hole if you will) zeus did not fight nyx because you see him in the sky she moves him at her will.😂 we have words for this now as well ....god i love mythology 😂❤
