ОтветитьNice video
ОтветитьThis longplay is just a simple playthrough of the story mode. Story mode goes through just about every single stage in the game except for two. For those final two, I took the opportunity to show off the DLC fighters a bit. Unfortunately, Arcade mode does not have any character-specific endings, which is a real shame because the rest of the MvC games do.
Just to share a personal story with you all, I was hyped when this game was announced even though the characters looked off. But when I played the demo, which was the first few fights of the story mode...MAJOR OOF. I hadn't been that turned off from a game before. Playing the full game now, its rough. It plays solid, but the story, writing, and roster is super freakin' weak. Where are any of the X-Men?? What's with the scene between Morrigan and Ghost Rider having a weird love affair? Why is nothing properly explained here?
Well, funny I bring up the X-Men thing. Recently, Maximilian Dood was talking about this game on a stream and mentioned how Disney and Marvel were trying to end X-Men during this game's development. It wasn't just in games either - they were wanting to be done with X-Men in every department from toys to movies to everything in between. So, when Capcom started making plans for the roster, Disney supposedly said no to any and all X-Men characters. And that is why we don't have Wolverine, Cyclops, Magneto, Psylocke, Gambit, or Rogue.
Anyways, UMvC3 is one of the longplays I'm uploading next month, so look forward to that as we make our way backwards through the series until MvC Collection is out!
