Es maravilloso volver a escucharte. Desde Corrientes Argentina
ОтветитьAlways loved your music Joan . 62 from Newfoundland Canada here. Love John Prine's music as well . I was so saddened by his passing . Please stay safe and be well and tell everyone to vote out that monster in the Whitehouse :(
ОтветитьLa canción hecha mujer. Mi inspiradora y venerada artista que visito un par de veces mi país indolente y miserable (chile) me reconforta con su reconocimiento por John Prine. Muchas gracias por la sublime versión.
ОтветитьI still love you.....and I loved JP...please don’t bury me....
Ответитьjust wonderful !!! <3
ОтветитьSaw John sing this song on tv one time. He introduced it as the favorite song he ever wrote. I have to agree.
ОтветитьUnbelievable talent, an American treasure: and with the courage to speak up for the people of Palestine.
ОтветитьI keep coming back to this for comfort. I miss John's music so much. More so, I miss my brother who introduced me to John's music.
ОтветитьSaskia is an incredible human being. Beautiful inside and out. Her voice is pure just like her soul. x

ОтветитьThis is a ridiculous version. She is way out of her depth.
ОтветитьYour are so classy Joan.
Ответитьmagnificent talent, unmistakable, unforgettable
ОтветитьNot a lot of people know who this lady is, I would clash with her because I'm strong willed but she has written more songs then I could even name....and she discovered Bob Dylan! Nicely done Joan. More beautiful now then ever BBgirl!
ОтветитьMs Baez. Thank you... I’ve had a full life with your beautiful talent. This is my Blessing. Aho!
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьExtraordinary
Ответитьvery nice ms baez but then you are always polished...it is a shame as to how Bob treated you after you brought him along etc etc..fame and fortune is a very slippery slope...some people say greed is good...one thing is for sure the equation always balances...somehow somewhere what goes round comes round and that is a guarantee...thankyou for your years of service...you are still a proud folksinger...all the best Joni....canada
ОтветитьJoan is a national treasure!
ОтветитьJohn must be smiling down sayin, 😉
" You still got it !"
natalie merchant also did such a nice version of this song. this sure is a thinking song
ОтветитьI grew up adoring Joan Baez. Learned every song she sang. A legend to behold.

ОтветитьIt still feels unreal that he's gone.
ОтветитьAr dheis Dé go raibh a h'anam dílis
ОтветитьBeautiful. thank you Joan, you are a life long inspiration.
Ответить...how in the world did Joan Baez get more beautiful than ever?...I'll tell you how...she followed her heart...she followed music and poetry and the things we used to call "causes"...and she gave an ear to John Prine, whose presence is sorely missed by the simple likes of me...Thank You, Joan Baez...a beautiful artist...with all love, admiration and respect, thank you for making this a better place...
ОтветитьGreat tribute , thanks.. I was lucky enough to meet John several times in the 70's - 90's.. great humble man!
ОтветитьAlso Glad to see you are still out there Joan.. still a legend ..
ОтветитьI was 24 when I first heard this song. I am 70 years old today. Just imagine
ОтветитьBeautiful song but the gentrified backdrop is jarring.
ОтветитьÚnica , como artista y como persona
Tuve la suerte de verla en directo en Gijón y Madrid
Gracias por lo que nos dejas a los de tu generación y los que nos siguen
Beautiful
ОтветитьSo beautiful. Thank you.
ОтветитьBeloved...
ОтветитьJoan Baez is over rated, not original and hung around singing others hits , for years. Definitely not what she claims her-that "she AND John Price are singer songwriters ". She was always a hanger -on .
ОтветитьJoan Baez's album "Diamonds and Rust" remains, to this day, the only one I've bought on vinyl, tapes (two of them! wore out one ....) and CD. Her rendition of this song has always been one of my favorite cuts - and as I live my way through my seventies, it only increases in significance. I do like his slower timing, though ..... more apropos to the subject matter, IMHO. But thank you so much, Ms. Baez and Mr. Prine, for such an incredible musical verbalization of the reality of growing older in America - and of being ignored by those to whom we feel we can offer so much in historical context and perspective. So many errors of the past need NOT be repeated! ;-)
ОтветитьYoung people in the US could learn so much from you Joan, and from John.
ОтветитьBrought tears to my eyes.
ОтветитьIt‘s sad that Your Friend John died , we may pray to our BeLoved Well Souls and stay in contact with them beyond time or distance or Lifve. If there is Love , it will not die. He left a wonderful song that makes me say to you
Joan Baez I say ‚hello in there my Joan I love you my old Whitehaired Lady my Lesbian Wifve, Deine Kathy Baez‘ Katharina Scharlowski your Kathy foreverlasting Love we share my Joan .
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThanks Ms Joan for this beautiful tribute to John Prine. He touched many lives with his lyrics/music and many of us needed to hear this song over and over.
ОтветитьThank you Joan and John. We did 'have a time', didn't we?
ОтветитьLove you both.
ОтветитьSo impressive! Thanks for posting!!
ОтветитьMy favorite John Prine song. Thanks Joan. Best wishes.
