No matter how fast Xiaomi is, a device you constantly hold in your hand should not get this hot. Even if it was 2 times faster than the current one, I still wouldn't buy the Xiaomi 14 Pro. No to overheating devices.
S23 ultra is very fast and does not heat up. Battery good, screen good, camera good. There is no need to look at other models.

Power Director still needs to be updated, so it's moot. I saw another test on YT that used five different apps that were all updated. The iPhone won all five, and the S23U was close in a couple but well beaten in the other three. So, it is down to finding the fastest rendering app and using that for each OS, assuming speed is your de facto user preference. 

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is proving that the SD8G3 is a very small upgrade, which most of us know as it is still 4nm. I see no reason to upgrade specifically for the chip in 2024 for us in the west if you have the SD8G2.

Everyone knows that Apple processors would be hopeless if they were to work on Android or Windows. The only thing that saves them is optimization for iOS. After the release of the new iPhone 15, everyone saw that their development had drastically ended because increasing the frequency alone was no longer enough, even after very good software optimization. The programs are simply becoming too complex for the solution used by Apple and its software. And this is exactly what can be observed in the iPhone 15, increasing performance by increasing the frequency which resulted in overheating and battery drainage. Software optimization was supposed to fix the problem and probably only involved lowering the maximum clock speed or shortening the operating time at the highest processor clock speed. Not to mention the lack of support for artificial intelligence and the lack of modules in the processor such as 5g, WiFi, Bluetooth and so on... all these modules are not integrated with the processor, which also increases energy consumption...not to mention the pathetic fact of lack of fast charging.

You're taping on Iphone and Galaxy apps first so this test is not so accurate.

It's only a software optimization, already the 8 gen 2 is on par with a17 pro in rendering, and clearly cap cut needs to be optimized to utilize the power of the 8 gen 3

Pixel 8 Pro with Tensor G3 alongside these 3 phones would've been a bang on comparison video. A17 Pro v 8G2 v 8G3 v Tensor G3 and if possible a Dimensity 9200 Ultra or whatever for an all out chip comparison.
