There are a couple guys I went to high school with that are wealthy, that were really dumb.

My theory is that they don't hemm and haw over decisions and moves, they just go forward.

More risk more reward basically

If you make an investment decision, there is a high probability that others will have seen it before you and you will therefore lose. On the other hand, someone who simply pays attention to their money management and is lucky will win.

I'm aiming to be more "dumb" in 2023. Too much analysis on my end, need more action

I estimate approximately 55 million dumb people in the UK alone. Most of them are on benefits.

There's more than one level of "intelligence" and as you say, you can apply too much learned knowledge in a situation. My intuition will always cause me to step into an experience that's in perfect harmony with my desires and whatever situation I'm in at that moment. Anything less than perfection as an outcome therefore, would NOT be intuition.

One note: you do not see 'dumb people' that fail.. only the millionaires (1%).. de other 99% never reach it (and do not get attention).

I think, one key element aswell is, those who are more simple, they act simple, and repeat, this transforms easily to consistancy, when they repeat the good thing over and over, they become rich. I think there is still much more broke dumb people, than rich dumb people

It's not dumb luck buying in a crash. It's called contrarian investing. Long-term, it's actually smart. It's usually when you trade short-term and when over leveraged, like when day trading, when you get burned badly.
