Funny enough, Bioshock with just a wrench is not just possible but can be an insanely powerful way of playing the game (if done right). There's a few plasmids that take this from potential to broken, one is the Natural Camouflage tonic that you get after you research Houdini splicers. Combine that with wrench lurker 1&2 (bonus damage if attack from stealth) wrench jockey 1&2 (bonus wrench damage overall) as well as sportsboost 1&2 (increases movement speed and wrench attack speed).

Add Armour shell 1&2 for increased defense and static discharge/frozen field for stunning/freezing enemies if they land a hit on you and Bloodlust for getting health back.

Speaking of difficulty, I once did the "brass ball challenge". That involves playing the game on Hard with the vita-chambers turned off, essentially making it a permadeath run (without your saves being deleted). The toughest parts where the start, was really hard fighting the big daddies without much of anything or abusing the vita chambers to whittle down their health. Managed to beat it and get the achievement, doubt I will ever do that again.

Waited until I finished Bioshock to actually watch this video, and it makes me so incredibly sad to know that this will be my final time watching a Mitten Squad video that I have never seen. Paul, you were an amazing person, and we miss you, rest easy.

I like to only use the wrench when I play Bioshock every time. Also, I always pick easy mode because games are supposed to be fun and stress-relieving

I don’t mind fort frolic, but Arcadia/ farmers market is honestly the part that drags most on my playthroughs, it looks like such a beautiful area for two minutes till the trees get killed, then it is just one long annoying fetch quest in an area that looks kinda bland and boring with all the trees dead, also Houdini splicers just showing up, burning me then dipping just ain’t the one chief

On easy mode it is very easy. I wouldn't fancy doing it on hard.
