The actor playing Charlie was tall, decent-looking and appeared strong. Charlie himself? A puny, little wimp. He was barely over 5'. This alone would have probably excluded him from a rock career where image matters. He was also tested and found to be illiterate. He admitted himself that he couldn't read music and was self taught. He just made up all these fairy tales and then horror stories in his head. He was definitely not inspiring nor a father-figure to all those girls. He just gave them drugs and then controlled them with fear.

A forensic Psychology major (I graduated in 2023) this is a perfect documentary depicting cult behavior and its long term effects on people. From an outside perspective it’s so easy to judge but when you look at the tactics used by cult leaders it’s so hard to resist the brain washing. They starve you, sleep deprive you, create chaos, replace your identity, etc. you are so desperate for some type of normalcy, for food, for sleep, etc, that you’ll do just about anything. And if you do that enough you become a completely different person. So much so that these women, even if they have been “deprogrammed” will never truly be able to return to the versions of themselves they were before. It’s like they die in front of you and you can’t do anything about it.

Ah little pooooor Linda Kasabian.. Not so innocent in real life off the camera.. " In his 2016 book Sharon Tate and the Manson Murders, author Greg King recounted an October 1996 police raid by the Tacoma, Washington police department where Kasabian and her daughter, Quanu, had been arrested after "rock cocaine and a large bundle of cash in a dresser drawer" were discovered along with a semi-automatic handgun and ammunition. According to King, Kasabian's daughter was tried and found guilty of possession of controlled substances and sentenced to serve time in a Washington state prison." Kasabian died in January 21st 2023 at the age of 73.

Also chew on this fact. All of the killers minius Linda Kasabian were with Charles Manson and the family nearly from the beginning 2 years hense. They were the most loyal, trusting and fantically devoted to Charlie.

And if you read the accounts of other former 'Family' members the most feared by them. So how come Charlie picked Linda to go out and kill for him given that Linda had just joined 'The Family' a few months previous? Would you trust a newbie so much that you were certain she ould carry out your orders if you only knew that person a few months? UNLESS she had already proven herself to trustworthy and complete devoted.

Also dis documentry argues that well Linda was the only one with a car. But they completely ingnore the fact that 'The Family' were living off of Car Theift and Drug Selling. And there were alot of cars in LA at the time as there are now. How hard would it have been for Tex for example to hot wire a car if they needed one for that night?

No Linda offfered her car to be used in the crime.

Tally that up. It becomes very self evident that Linda wasn't some little innocent caught up in something she didn't want to be a apart of. In fact she took an ACTIVE roll in the events that took place those two night. And possibly took an active roll in carrying out the murders.

This is a really good documentary because it’s nuanced where most of them about Manson and the family try to bring shocking and dark viewing them from a very outsider and ignorant conservative viewpoint instead of from all different angles such as life.

So there are people who obviously don't know who Manson was, one strange thing I've noticed is whenever I tell the tale the atmosphere changes and the females develop a fascination about Charles, you would think they would be freaked out by him, nope it's like the moth flapping towards a scorpion or mouse dancing straight into the viper's nose. There is also a strange fascination for males too...every Alpha dreams of having such command i also suspect Andrew Tate was trying to have such command, where did he get the sword idea from? Have you seen how he treats the women?
I've watched so many documentaries about Manson but this one was chilling i could almost smell the blood. Now I see why most religions and cults want you to eliminate that ego lol i never believed in relinquished ego or ego ☠️ what's creepy about all of this is it's not difficult to get people to do anything you bid, it comes at a climax when they literally worship you and see you as a King or Queen
