This game is better then Anthem in every way. Thousands of people worked on Anthem compared to the 30 who made Greedfall. RIP to Bioware

@JorRaptor I pre-ordered this game based on your hype of the game and I have to say I'm loving it so far, reminds me of an older western RPG (KOTOR, jade empire, etc). I was very tempted to go Tech. Class b/c the Traps are OP but I hear they are going to get nerfed so I went Magic Class instead. Not very far into the game but loving it so far despite it's "problems". Definitely best western RPG since Witcher 3 but I guess that's not saying much, but still great game so far. EDIT: I also decided to go one handed fast weapon hybrid with the magic build.

Really would like to see a co-op in the future

Got it today and I’m very impressed, I haven’t been so immersed since RDR2, God of War, Metro Exodus, and AC Odyssey. They did an excellent job as I knew they would.

I would say arguably this product is of higher quality then most AAA products.

Managing expectations for this game is important. But as a few others have said, I think it's even more important to spend the $60 and support a 45 person studio that is working with what they've got, you know? And just maybe they can earn the cash to build a game like Dragon Age or Mass Effect or KOTOR. So even if this game doesn't blow you away, show your support for small business/developers and give it a shot! :)

World seems little boring as far as colors go, or is it just me?

The problem isn’t this game costing $50, it’s that a lot of AAA games should be $70 or $80. Game development only gets more expensive and smaller developers are going to feel the pinch more than larger studios with more income streams.

I was hyped and am now having buyers remorse. The entire island looks exactly the same and all the cities and buildings are copy and paste clones. Its wild. Combat is super easy on even the hardest difficulty setting. I dont think I will finish it.

The RPG part is truly amazing. I sold some clothes by mistake and could buy them back later to complete the mission, the game is smart in many ways and the multiple approaches to missions and conversations is felt and seen clearly. The biggest drawback right now are the multiple glitches. Two examples, first the training combat at the beginning. Had to close and start over, guys would not fight and I could not leave the area. Also, did ask the question about Heretics but shown as failed. Happy otherwise, fun to explore, well thought missions, no fetching here. Leaving Serene now, you do not want to stop playing which is a good sign!!

I normally don’t like pirate settings but in this game I love it.

I already knew when I first heard about this that I would get it. And I can say that its living up to my expectations and more. Just want wanted to see how my boi was liking it. Cant wait to see the tips and discovery's that you will be sharing on it. Well got to go back to Greedfall and make some discovery's of my own.

The big issue i have with this game is character customazation is straight trash, the game has to much control over who you are and i feel like it hurts the game experience alot, at least for me, i do like the game though the rest of it is fine.

Really good game. It’s crazy how a small team of less than 50 can make this game and it’s better than some of the games that the big companies have come out with. I am really enjoying it. I’m just waiting on dragons dogma 2 now.

i beat it with mage and melee

I feel like by being really lenient on this game we are enabling a poor misconception that this game will replace dragon age or fill a void left by it, this isn't that and that's where this game will fail if people keep saying It. I'm not thinking of only the first 5 or 10 hours I'm thinking about 50 hours later at the least to equal to how much I'm paying for it and I really see its short comings the further it goes along, I watched someone play 3 hours now and they ran past certain combat situations within the first hour or two and when they did commit to fighting ? They just dash slashed over and over for thier combat, I also feel like you personally kinda intentionally avoided saying this (you're really nice and I don't think you're trying to deceive anyone but I can tell you want this game to succeed and it's more contnet for you as a creator) but there is no viability in a "mage" build, you in this game are very likely to end up a warrior hybrid of whichever technical or magical set up because you cannot rely on magic there are like a total of 3 "spells" in the game and casting them as well as your basic attacks for the rings (which I find ridiculous) drains your mana to the point where you'll have to take a potion or the AI will repeatedly shout at you to do so, the hit box for traps is tiny and enemy AI seem to be prone to avoiding them at all costs and your guns need ammunition which of course isn't a bad thing in itself but you will have to pick up a blade at some point, the camera for combat makes every encounter feel like there's this secret arena you're fighting in with a hidden circle, for some enemies if you step outside their zone their little eye symbol will immediately lower through the alert stages even though you're right in front of them as far as I can tell the enemies don't so much as roam the small maps as they just sit in place and wait for you to come fight them. If the game where 40 dollars I'd say a maybe but even then still I'd personally wait for a sell because outward has a better skill system and that game also has a very small development team. I honestly feel like this game isn't worth the high praise we are giving it just that it's new and different and we've been holding our breath and felt this would let us breathe.

Seems like one of those developers who actually put effort, and the result is game with a good foundation and great potential to be more. Maybe in patches, dlc, or sequel. Definitely going to buy

Cdpr should take notes . It's possible to kill a stronger enemy in this game. Hope cyberpunk fixes it.

Been looking forward to this game for almost 4 years now, so excited!In the off chance you can reply: based on your first impressions does it feel like a game with replay value? I know you haven't played it full just wanted a preliminary opinion.

I can say after playing bound by flames in Tech romancer this game really look like it be fun to see multiple endings

Reminds me of The Witcher

Really enjoying it, yes it feels like an 5 year old game due to the graphics but the story is fun and I have no doubts they'll patch it to smooth it out a bit

I'm definitely going to wait for the game to go on sale, not worth $50 - short game compared to Witcher 3, Skyrim and recent major rpgs. With no expac/dlc coming, $40 is the most I would pay for a game this size.

I just finished Bound by Flame a few days before this came out and really enjoyed it. It's not triple A and it doesn't claim to be. I'm about 3 hrs in to this and I like it a lot. It's pretty much I expected and I'm happy with it

Basically another assassin creed game (rpg) with a little bit of pirates looking and natives game to make it sound cool i would rather play peter pan on my play store than by this ✌ peace 😉

Am I the only one that think the graphics are bad? Yes, I do understand it’s a smaller company compared to other games, but I paid 50$ in this game, so I’m expecting a great experience. Im at the first 3 hours of the game. For now, I don’t really know if I like I or not lol. In fact, I’m comparing it every time with my favorite RPG game, dragon age inquisition that many of the users here already said, has many bugs, but still, it’s really good and fun to play. I’m a big fan of magic and in dragon age inquisition it works really good to me but in greedfall seems like “magic is only this?” D:

I wish you were able to play beyond the "end" I hope they make a dlc or update one day that adds the ability to play through the events you decided upon with more companion story and things to do

17 hours into this game and I find the combat really unsatisfying for a melee build. It’s clunky and laggy. I think magic is the only way to go in this game.
