Really nice bowl, CDA!
ОтветитьNice bowl good job my friend. 👍👍
ОтветитьCool shape! Not like any of your other bowls/dishes. Love the rich colour of Panga Panga too.
ОтветитьI had a bit of Panga Panga on the lathe last week. Not a bad wood to cut but can be a bit chippy. Getting the wax off the edges can be a real pain! Nice shape to the bowl! Cheers, Dave
ОтветитьLove it got a question for you I have the same lathe do you have any problems with a stiff tailstock mine is really hard to turn stripped it down cleaned it and its not much better???
ОтветитьAwesome bowl Dan, the finish and grain are stunning. Leaving it square, well sort of, is great and the slope down from the top is very different. Really creative work.
Keep on turning.
Cheers, Bluey 👍
Very nice! That wood is beautiful!
ОтветитьGreat looking bowl dark wood almost like black Walnut keep turning stay safe👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьTotally agree with everyone. That's a nice winged bowl compared to others and hope to make one of it in the future. I'm a new wood turner hopefully you can visit me too:-)

Have you had any issues with your panga panga creations splitting, cracking or checking? I have a brand new guitar with a panga panga fretboard that is full of cracks — many as long as 2” to 3” and wide enough to insert a fingernail.
