it would be perfect with the stupid blue ambient light permanently turned off, 10gb ethernet, and at least 2 m.2 ssd slots. Other than that, it's just ok as the price of 399 is just too much for a bunch of ports.

I won’t buy another Anker product again out of principle. I bought an Anker dock and it fried my mbp – literally! I heard and smelled it fry when I plugged it in. I was fortunate that the mbp was covered by the retail firms warranty and they didn’t ask questions but Anker wanted the offending dock back, gave me a refund, didn’t offer me any compensation and didn’t contact me again about it. Not a single word. I can understand the occasional rogue device but for them not to even say sorry is unforgivable.

Skip… first it’s Anker… No 10G Ethernet. Design looks like some cheap windows mini computer and blue ambient light makes it worse. But it has built in power supply, only max 140watt output. Unknown if it’s shared with other charge ports in front..
