Why dont you use two buckets wven cleaning? One clear for inlet, and another for purge. Then you dont have to change the water many times. Good video otherwise 👍

I'd like to know how long can paint remain in the gun and hoses etc, ie 2hrs between coats - or does the cleaning process need to be done between coats?

I've been a painter for 38 years and I've never seen anything so ridiculous. Unless you're working in empty new build dwellings then this method is not viable... A Lamb's wool roller and a 3inch brush is the best neatest and cleanest method to use .

Graco Sprayers are better. They last longer!

I bought the one with the built in hopper as I didn't like all the pots and buckets in the way, it empties very quick but cleans up a bit quicker.

You chose a spray gun that is different to the one that came with the unit. The spray gun you are using is very expensive. Please do a video about this gun and the one that came with the unit.

Two things. You didnt talk about the danger of injection injury, I dont know what pressures that sprayer works at but its a serious risk. And, that mask is not adequate. You should really be wearing a vapur mask even the p3 sealed face mask is not good enough. Obviously if your just doing a DIY job the mask isn't such a big problem but injection injury is.

The time saving by panting is amazing, but cleaning the machine takes you ten times longer.

Where do you pour all the waste water?

I purchased a Wagner "350 Extra' to paint a house I am building. I have lots of windows, around 40, so do not underestimate the prep time of masking. Ideally leave off doors and if a new build, spray everything before carpentry, electrical or plumbing second fix. I reckon a sprayer uses more paint than a roller or brush. I would not recommend spraying for a DIY job as preparation takes way too long. Also, if you have carpets down be extra careful to protect. Practice does improve the finish. When you get it right the finish is excellent. I'm not convinced my investment, around £450 when new in 2022 was worth it.

Used to spray but mate's would ring and we'd be off to golf, next day blues' cleaning the bloody things, just buy roller's 😅

So if you were to use oil based paint in this you would replace water with turpentine to clean it out? I can’t imagine how much that would require and to dispose of after…

Biggest con is also having to fire up your sprayer to make minor touch ups, as rollers will never blend in on a sprayed wall

Stopped watching the video the moment I saw the price tag for the sprayer - £478 - WHAT !? plus too much faff with protecting everything. not sure if cost/pain out weigh the benefit ? maybe it does if you are a professional painter/decorator or have a massive job to do but for a normal diyer who might need to paint one of two rooms at a time, not sure if its worth it.

In the time he took talking he could have roller painted a wall !

Bin liner over the unit keeps the mist off it. I set up in one room, sprayed it, then was able to reach 3 other rooms due to the length of hose it comes with. Bit of a luxury tool. But I got it second hand at a 1/3 of the price. Only used on one job. So great bargain

As a painting contractor, i would avoid buying a sprayer like this. These are built cheap and just wont last very long.

Buy a piston style pump, graco and titian make some great ones. They last MUCH MUCH longer. I have had my graco 395 for literally 18 years. Other than a few rebuilds and gun rebuilds I have have 0 issues with it. I use it at least once a week, but I'm positive I have put thousands of gallons through it.

Buy once, cry once.

The whole room gets full of paint in the air. It’s been a nightmare. How could you do a feature wall it would go on the other walls surely?

To me....the major problem with spraying inside is the overspray. And the fact that you need everything either out of the room, or push everything to the center, with a tarp, over it all. And......everything has to be masked off. Lots of labor needed and material for that, vs just rolling and brushing.

Get a real respirator with organic vapor cartridges, your ppe is lacking
