RYZEN 3 1200 + GTX1060 3GB: 1080p Gaming Benchmarks!

I bought a 1050 Ti, I’m happy with that. I bought it a few days prior the 1060 going down in price. I’m bummed about that, but it’s okay

A power supply of how many Watts should I choose for a system like this?

6GB VRAM is future proof. Buying 3GB VRAM in this year is being dumb.

If i lived in the us i would have got a 1060 6gb + ryzen 1300x instead of a 1060 3gb + ryzen 1200 for the same price...

The difference from basic B350 models and say a Asus B350 plus' prices are quite big. So, are the basic B350 models enough to get a Ryzen CPU to 4Ghz with an average air cooler (eg.: cooler master T4)? Or the VRM will be just too unstable?

So if i bought this cpu and gpu and stayed at playing these games at only high very high settings what fps can i expect as an average? I dont want to buy this setup on my budget and it be shit after a few months.

Ok so on my xbox one s I get consistent 60fps on rainbow 6 siege on what I’m guessing is 1080p.

Why’s it look so shitty though? Like not the graphics but the actual physics of the game looks terrible. For example I’m aiming down sights changing targets, why’s everything become blurry and indistinguishable, people say 60fps 1080p gaming is ideal but I’m experiencing terrible problems with it, like the fluidity of it is bad, on pc is it better? Is this my refresh rate? I can’t process the images I’m seeing while making fast movements cause everything becomes semi blurry, it’s why I’ve been so obsessed with PCs that can push 150+ FPS on my favorite game, but then again I don’t know what the problem really is

My Ryzen 3 1200 works well with my GTX 1060 6gb. Not overclocked.

I got the same but with an R5 1400 and I found the EXOC model on sale for 190€, so I think I've made a good purchase

your ryzen 3 1200 cant be stable @ 1.35V please do a test with cinebench or another stress test

I got myself some components today, expect I went with the Ryzen 3 1300x.
Do you think that'll have any affect on the performance of games?

Since my monitor is at 1080p and at 60hz, i dont think i will overclock it. FOR NOW (i OCed it but for some odd reason, it reverted lol)

Edit:I have the Asus factory OC card so i leave it as it is and overclocked my ryzen 3 1200 to 3.7Ghz at 1.28v (i dont want to go higher as im not really good with motherboard issues)

Edit again: I just OCed my cpu to 3.8 @ 1.3125V (for some reason my mother board doesn't allow 1.31 or 1.305V lol) and my GPU for some reason reached a peak of 2.05 Ghz and 4.5Ghz without issues. So far happy with what i have . btw my GPU is ASUS GTX 1060 3gb Dual OC.

overclocking ryzen 3 1200 from stock 3.4 ghz to 3.8 ghz will void its warranty?

Dude I run gtx 1060 3g with my Athlon 750k. Plays games fine. I can't imagine Ryzen 3 1200 having any more of a problem with a gtx 1080 than a gtx 1060. But of course the Ryzen 3 would just be a starting point for a new AM4 build. Obviously you would eventually upgrade to a Ryzen 5 1600 at the very least.

I have a 1600*900p screen. So will I get more fps if I play at 1600*900 (ultra) when compared to 1080p with this build itself.

in pubg i used all very low with medium texture and ultra antialising for seeing people and i get easily over 60 fps with this setup

Okay so I'm very new to PC building, but would pairing the ryzen 3 1200 with the 1060 3gb not cause (small) problems once you play games on medium to high? (And would overclocking still be necessary?)

i have this combo with 8gb of ram and its amazing no slow downs at all! Fortnite runs at the highest settings @1080p with steady 60+ fps its really great

There is one thing that I have noticed and I have both of these. If you have a fan cooking your cpu do not overclock it to 3.9 ghz or this will make it over heat sometimes and you will bluescreen. You’d need a water cooler like he has to get this high so if you want only make it go to 3.6.

Why do people always test in ultra settings nobody plays FPS shooters on ultra. You’re supposed to be playing as high on FPS as you can

I would only use ultra on RPG or open worlds(but if my frames drop bellow 60 then its very high) single player but for multiplayer medium to very high

What do those "Bottom 1%" and "Bottom 0.1%" mean (in the context of benchmarking ofc)? I see them in all benchmarks. I hope it's not a stupid question but the terms just don't seem self-explanatory to me. :c
