As a Flight Attendant, ( retired ) I worked a lot of trips to Haiti, you meet some of the most Beautiful, Kind people, on those flights. I never knew what it was, but the women have some of the most sun kissed skin, like butter so smooth and beautiful. I think the sun is different on that part of the world, because I meet to many Haitian 😅 with that same type of Skin/ complexion ❤❤. And beautiful Hair too. ❤ Back in the day many years ago, when we would lay over in Haiti, this is before my time as a FA. I Heard that Haiti Had a very nice Layover Hotel. ❤

There seems to me a massive question mark still unanswered about the killing of the president. The fact that the captured suspects clearly don't look like they are from Haiti. Is it that there is foreign interference with Haiti's affairs. Who would stand to benefit from removing Haiti's president? Which if any foreign countries would have a vested interest?

For the gas situation, why don't they just have a government official & police at the gas station ensuring that only 1 car filled per person. If the gas station owners get caught trading to black market they go to jail?
Punish corruption and reward capitalistic behavior. I guess the government cant collect taxes so cant pay employees enough to pay more than the black market?

I just read that Haiti gets an incredible amount of financial support. I went to Dominican republic, and it was a wonderful place. So, part of me wonders if it's intentional at some level, or just a cultural issue of once you're in a bad state, it's incredibly hard to get out of that situation.

As a Canadian who is well off, I do find it hard to understand when I was raised in such a safe place. I want to be less ignorant; these documentaries really help open my eyes to reality of so many.

When you're visiting this country, what is the best way to help provide for the people around you without putting your own life at risk? I realize carrying sums of money may be dangerous (though it sounds just as dangerous not to have something since you need to bribe officials) but how else can you help them?
