super cool car
ОтветитьI just went through the same dilemma with a 1964 Chevy C10 short bed stepside taken from a Kansas farm. My daughter wouldn’t let me shine anything. Just clean off the dirt and leave the patina. I did get to built a clean LT1 motor for it though.
ОтветитьIt looks like a 1450 Holley, I had a 1150 Holley, We like ur videos keep it up,wavin a hand at you from South Texas 😅
ОтветитьOne Bitchin 56, get it running and take it to the track!
ОтветитьI'd change out that "Ford Cobra Jet" hood scoop.....🤢
ОтветитьLow 12s one nice car
ОтветитьYou guys in California are so lucky to have cars so rust free
ОтветитьWhat does it have for rear suspension many of them cars would run a ladder bar set up or some would run a 4 link
ОтветитьWhere do you go from here?
ОтветитьYou lost me with the meal ad that lasted forever🤨
Ответитьwish there was more footage of Olivia doing the cold starts...
ОтветитьBlasphemy
ОтветитьHey that 427 probably has a roller cam in it because that distributor has a bronze gear on it and that looks like a 1150 carb with those tubes on it so you probably have a hellified big block with lots of RPM capabilities
ОтветитьWhat an awesome purchase and it is like a time capsule. Glad you guys were able to get it as it now has a good home.
Ответитьall utubers like factor🤢
Ответитьthey look like fake centerlines
ОтветитьI love how you guys have 3 old school race cars ALL with A arms. So bad ass to not see any straight axles
Ответитьdid you see where Tony Angelo from Stay Tuned was in your neighborhood just before the Duct Tape Drags ,he brought a LS swapped Nova in Camarillo
ОтветитьYour sister is hot
ОтветитьOlivia’s vintage race part knowledge is impressive for a young person. This will be a cool project to watch.
ОтветитьIM sick of hearing about that shit factor and what BS what does "chef crafted mean" absolute bs they taste like shit
ОтветитьI wouldn't change a thing about it take it from a old school at 70 years old leave the old school car like it is,,,, please,,,,,im from Sanford Florida we use to race at Bethlo ( i think thats how it's spelled)race track now it Orlando track,,,,,man that was a long time ago,,,,,wish you guys were in Florida or i was on the west Coast,,,,id fix your cars up nice for you and would not charge you a Dime,,,grew up in my dads body shop still can trough down i use to be a certified body technician,,,,but i can through down a slick paint job,,,,,,thank you gus for your videos
ОтветитьAnd that is a holly dominator just like that guy said it was Gilbert,,,,heck when i was a young man,,,kid i remember rhe holly 3 barrel carburetor it had a butterfly for the secondary,,,,man that was a lonf time ago,,,,
ОтветитьMan, I would make it nice, but restore it to how it was originally raced, with the cream and copper paint, put a 4 speed and tunnel ram back on it.
Ответитьuntil about 1980 you could buy 106 premium lead octane gas at any station..yes it had to have a rear firewall you be surprise how many had street signs for the rear firewall remember being at drag strip a car roll on it side the hole floor of the car was speed limit sign guess he thought nobody ever see them
ОтветитьI would strip one of those cars put the parts away you never know and if a part of rust remove it 😊
ОтветитьRicard's great totally in the 56"s, But you guys are way too timid and neurotic good luck in the future.
ОтветитьYou guys are way too neurotic and timid. I'm keeping my fingers crossed you don't screw up this deal 56"s are my favorite.
ОтветитьNice legs
ОтветитьHello. I’m new to your channel but have enjoyed everything I’ve watched so far. The 56’s are my favorite tri-5 too! Good luck with your new project. I think you’re on the right track especially considering the historic prominence you’ve found. I would not do any major work to this car. Just refresh the car to make it usable and double check all the safety issues.
Most of all, have fun!
-Chuck
Man I love this one!! Be so cool to get what's there running and take it down the track! My 57 210 hardtop was a straight axle gasser from 1965 - 1985, wish I could find some pics when it was raced.
Ответить🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьChock the trailer tires if you ever use it again.
ОтветитьToo many adds. Love the channel but seams like there are more adds than normal.
ОтветитьHow much did yal pay for the car just asking ❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьSeats look liked jaz, remember them from the ads in car craft in the 80's.
ОтветитьI saw 1440 on that carb. Could that be the size. 1440 on the front. I bet holley might have built that special back in the day possible
At least your alot closer to finding out then i am in Tulsa,Oklahoma You have been to Tulsa International Speedway im sure this is the track where Don Garltts broke 200 i believe and home of the first female pro drag bike racer Vicki Farr
Don’t sell Stinky
Ответитьtv dinners. healthy highly processed food. I'll take my fresh chicken breast in the air fryer.
ОтветитьGasser has nothing to do with pump gas or race gas. Gasser was a class during the 60s. 56 is the best looking year of the tri 5. Pro gas is a 9.90 index class.
I ran so cal pro gas till Fontana closed.
The dominator is probably a 1050 cfm.
How can it be a 210 if its a hard top? Asking for a friend. I, he thought hard tops were BelAir's.
Nikolaus Unions
ОтветитьY'all's car collection is pretty impressive I've got a few also but I'm 58 y/o by the time you get my age 😮 .. I've had to sell a few off because sht happens in life i hope y'all will be able to hang on to all of them and save more of these time capsules...
ОтветитьRice Extensions
ОтветитьHalvorson Rest
ОтветитьI love it the 56s they are the best in my eyes❤
ОтветитьBrass distributor gear = roller cam. 98% chance it is a solid roller cam. Send original Dominator to Air, Fuel, Spark (Best Holley rebuilder on planet earth). Take engine out of car. Disassemble and clean & polish parts Very Carefully...Reassemble with same parts. Check steel stamped #'s on block pad. Maybe some Corvette owner is searching for his original block?? Wash, clean & polish the entire car. Don't re-paint. Bars under car were called "Traction Bars" Some called them slapper bars. They prevented axel wrap. Section was cut from frame to fit crossmember for transmission. COOL CAR!!!!
ОтветитьYour shop needs a blast cabinet.
ОтветитьThe carb looks like an original holley 1050 cfm dominator from the early 70s..you can tell by the raised air horns that look like small velocity stacks. That's probably worth some money all cleaned up.
ОтветитьI want to buy a 56 that’s in good shape
