I'm not a PC gamer, I just bought a 34" 1440p monitor because I'm forced to used my work's laptop and I have a 5K iMac but I don't want to have both on my desk so I do see myself buying this 5K monitor, it's 5K with I won't loose quality like I did with the one I got and it's 49" which would look amazing with PBP, it's perfect for my needs, unfortunately It's out of my budget so will have to wait another year or two. hahaha

How's the pixel quality, I bought the Samsung C49RG9 and the text is noticeably fuzzy even on 5k resolution.

Shame, I'd never buy a monitor that is only 60 Hz ... if it was 1444Hz I would buy it since a good monitor will last 10+ years. And stacking two of them, & it is only 60Hz, why not just buy a LG C1 42" 4K 144Hz display ... hell it might be better than this & 600 dollars cheaper.

THIS IS NOT 5K, VERTICAL RESOLUTION IS 1440P. ITS BASICALLY THE SAME AS HAVE TWO 27IN MONITORS. ITS BETER JUST TO GET ONE 4K MONITOR AND THEN YOU WOULD GET ALL YOUR VERTICAL SPACE FOR PRODUCTIVITY

Is it possible to use the KVM feature —one mouse & one keyboard without installing any software to the PC?

It must be one of those things you don't "get it" until you try it.

Because I've always been a single monitor guy, just Alt+Tab to discord/browser, or use my phone for maps/guides as needed.

So this seems excessive. A 2 or 3 monitor setup seems preferable for what I think i want.
For games that support ultrawide it might be a gamechanger. Or just to partition the screen for discord etc.
Obviously as any sort of production person I could see myriad benefits but just myself gaming, I'm not sure. Certainly not at this price point.

Interested in two of them one above the other tuning from my MBP 2022.... but would I get 2 x 5k? No Thunderbolt? If budget wasn't an issue and you wanted 2 x the highest resolution largest real estate, where would you go?

"5k" with a soul of 3xFullHDs (on vertical space/resolution). That's what i don't like on those monitors. It's good for a lot of things, and can't deny looks gorgeous, but i really can't live with such low height low res. It's a lot of scrolling thru interfaces/menus, etc. I am targeting to get (and waiting patiently) for the sweet spot of 5K|2k Monitors, like the LG 40, or 34, but they're still TOO expensive for now. I will wait a bit more. And again. Don't get me wrong, it's a NICE buy if get used or don't care about what I've mentioned. Nice review.

How deep is your desk?

I’m looking at a 24 inch deep desk from belly to wall but am unsure if it’s deep enough for good viewing angles for a monitor of this size. Is there a recommendation for desk depth? I know width is 60 would be fine for me since I will have dual cabinets on either size one for desktop pc and other for extra desk space If I need it. Thank you in advance as well!! God bless.
