Abstract – Art of Recovery, a documentary series is produced by Grubb Arts, LLC. This project features artists and their stories from ache to art. Episode 14 was filmed by Reel Moments Media and edited by Mary Marsh Media.

If laughter is the best medicine, then this dynamic dancing duo, Molly Ahler and Stefan Dolbashian, could start an apothecary. Though, in this episode, after some out of context public flatulation story swapping, we got serious and talked about a number of issues like, what it’s like to live and work as partners, and the highs and lows of performance driven professions, especially during a pandemic. Then, more specific to Molly, she and I talked about Asian hate, her near crippling leg injury, and post-pandemic lay off from her dream job as a Disney cast member.

UPDATE: Since filming this episode in late 2021, Molly and Stefan had the wedding they’d hoped for, and Molly was not only able to return to working at “the happiest place on earth”, but she also landed a most coveted role that she had been dreaming of. … “A dream is a wish your heart makes, when you’re fast asleep”, farts and all.
