I am about to get a atlas cross sport (execuline with rline package) and I find it under powered for its potential.. Will a tune help with a little more horse power and torque? Will it void the warranty? first time owning vw and want to have a great experience.

I have the 2019 GTI and purchased stage 2 software, but when I went to go tune my car there were no files on my Uniconnect cable
So then I contacted Unitronic and they uploaded stage 2 file on my account but now it says "GLI" instead of GTI file and they haven't gotten back to me yet
So I guess my question is, did Unitronic screw up by sending me wrong file? or is it safe to flash GLI file on my GTI?

Would like to buy from you guys, but cant find on your site, 03 b6 a4Q 1.8 stage one+, guess I have to call

As soon as I get to the engine flash it’s not showing me and software files found I purchased the stage one. My vin is correct. All the steps are correct and look similar to yours except after I hit engine flash .

I have a question would this cable fit my 2014 vw Passat 1.8t

Generic map, one map fits all, not all cars are the same, most ecu are now locked so cannot use obd port.
If you did install a DSG tune it seems a contradictory way of re mapping, you remap the ecu engine tune, then re tune the ecu again for the gearbox, which would alter the remapped engine file to protect the dsg.

Great! Had a Saab and used trionic now have a vw and unitronic looks good. Question though... I'm not interested in uploading a tune, I'd just like to connect to the ecu via the obd2 port and do a backup of the ecu so if it fails I have a restore point. Hexprog does this but I'd have to remove the ecu for it... does unitronic allow for backups to be performed? Would that be a subscription based vin lock as well?
