CAMINO DE SANTIAGO French Way - April 27 to June 3, 2024

Thank you Mike for bringing back memories! I can almost remember every corner of the path. You are right, I also think a lot of the people I met on the camino in 2018, and you were also on my path. I know that this wil never be the same if I walked it again. Every journey has his own story. I think if you start the camino, you start it for life, cause the Camino has no ends. Your path is forever engraved in your heart. Seeing your beautiful video feels like a walk home again. Thank you Mike, and God bless!

Thanks for taking me along in your video, it felt like I was walking the journey with its challenges & wonderful memories. Photography & music is very fitting. The Camino is truely a vey special place & will always touch me emotionally, spiritually & physically.

Dedicas sólo 19 minutos al Camino por Galicia y a Santiago de Compostela, meta de todos los Caminos, menos de 3 minutos. Creo que has menospreciado la importancia del Camino por Galicia, y Santiago de Compostela queda casi como una anécdota. Una pena.

Mike, prior to starting the Camino, I was following your post about your very brief “engagement.” I was charmed by your sense of humor. I started one month after you finished and was transformed by every single step. I found your video on Casa Susi’s page and was delighted to learn you had stayed at my favorite alburgue… but mostly I was happy to find your video posted there. I’ve now watched it three times and treasure it. Also, I sent you a friend request on FB. I plan to walk the Frances again next year.

I just completed the Camino Frances this last week on 9/18! Watching just opened up a flood of memories the early stages of the Camino.

My wife and I walked the Camino almost at the same time with you, from May 1 to June 2, 2024. We might come across some where at some point in time.

Beautifully filmed, and I love the sound track too. I also started from St. Jean this past April 27, so of course I had to follow your whole Camino! And in a photo from your 5th day I recognized a woman I had a deep connection with in my first albergue in the Pyrenees! What a great surprise. We never forget those people, do we. Thanks so much for recording your Camino and sharing it with all of us.

Hi Mike, fantastic film bringing back great memories. I started on 14th May and got to Finisterre 20th June. One of the best things ive ever done.

I was 3 days behind you the whole way. Thanks for the film. You did a wonderful job of telling your story, mine as well.

I started walking on May 3rd and it was a perfect day. I stayed in Orisson that night. The next day, May 4 crossing the Pyrenees was 45 mph winds and rain, Light rain in the morning on May 5th from Zubiri to Pamplona. The rest of the trip to Santiago was dry and warm. We arrived on June 6th,. I have sent your video to my 3 other Camino family members and It brought tears to all of our eyes as we loved our experience, as no doubt you did also. Your video is the best that I have watched. I did the walk at 76, so my guess is that our experience was similarly rewarding to your own, I have done the Portuguese Coastal walk, September of 2023, and God willing will be back again on another Camino in the future.

Your video has a timeless quality and the sounds of nature give great moments of solitude. The atmosphere connects you to the beauty of the places and in a way makes a person feel so small in comparison to the beauty that surrounds you. Plus the people, the pets and the animals you encountered along the way made this journey more memorable. Great work and thanks for sharing this beautiful journey and the amazing nature of El Camino.
