All culture is dead bro open your eyes and look around
ОтветитьWe will take up a collection and buy you some cheese and crackers for your whine!
ОтветитьI feel your pain, my friend, feel your pain.
ОтветитьYou got a new better shop?
ОтветитьUps started using AI for their entire software program. They have had issues since that update.
ОтветитьIt's wild how people will complain and get mad about completely free entertainment.
ОтветитьPeople who don't like classic cars hotrods suck.
ОтветитьOrdered seatbelt parts from Delaware 5 hrs away from ct it took 9 days to get there usps ups all f up
ОтветитьYears ago a lady opened her door and hit my daily driver mustang while I was sitting in it, looked at me, didn't say a word and walked away. If she apologized that would have been the end of it. At the time I was using a butter knife to get transmission out of park and into gear. I used the tip of the knife and put a quarter inch wide bare metal scratch down the length of her door. Hopefully she learned her lesson. Probably not.
ОтветитьIdgaf what this video is about “algorithm”
But the accent explains IT ALL
Keeping them a little rough is the best way that's the way we used to do it back in the day you would fix a car as you had money sometimes you only had money for two tires you would have two nice rims and tires and then when you could afford two more you bought two more and drove them, and you worked on them. I'm so sick of seeing trailer Queens worth a hundred thousand dollars that nobody ever drives trailer of them to a car show unload them trailer them home. Never meant to be driven, if you don't drive them nobody's going to get into the car hobby cuz nobody will ever see these things. The car hobby will die
ОтветитьWell of course your in California where know one has respect for anyone or anything anymore. Where I am at it is a completely different story though most everyone loves and respects the old car culture to the extreme. If you go to the local high school parking lot you will see more old school classics in the parking lot especially 4x4 trucks and muscle cars. Most of them are prime original examples not trailer queens. Not a day goes by people don’t treat me and my classic like it is something special to be admired!
ОтветитьAmen and pass the biscuits. Shiny paint does cause stress....absolutely without a doubt !
I purchased my Camaro (nice finish) against my better judgment....should haven't held out for a faded beauty with good bones.
just remember most people just view them as a tool car people love cars everyone else nope
Ответитьi first tuned in when you were doing the 4 to 2 dr. conversion, for me after that the channel slid down hill .
ОтветитьI try to park in the employee lot at the stores , they cant leave before you do , they have to check you out , saves a lot of door dings
Ответитьi have a 1975 280z original paint had to go to DMV came out to find someone siting on my fender i all but lost it!!! people have no respect. you cant fix 50 year old paint
ОтветитьI drive an 87' RS Camaro I changed out the whole drive-train on. It's got a Dana 60, a Tremec TKO 600 manual, and a built 1st gen 350 smblk. I got it re-painted gloss black years ago and not two months later some chic trashed my right front fender and ripped my bumper cover in a parking lot as I was pulling out blind. I replaced both with yard parts and they've been black primer ever since. I think a nice paint job is nothing but a wreck magnet; but even with my half-assed paint job, I still get compliments from everybody that sees and hears the vehicle because it's still a bad-ass hot rod people can't just buy. I think most people still respect a nice build over a turn-key for that very reason; but it is frustrating when logistics put you over a barrel on parts. Summit use to ship everything UPS but recently when I ordered a spin-faster 1.8" 8 rib alternator pulley for a 200 amp that needs more self excitation, they sent it USPS and I never got it. All I got was an apologetic email that said it was delivered to the wrong place and couldn't be recovered. I'm out $55 and I still don't have the F-ing pulley. It's why I always try to juggle at least three projects at once so I can always keep at least one going. If you just have one Murphy's law is going to screw you every chance it gets. It's just a sad part of reality bro. I hope UPS doesn't lose your rear-end housing; but you're better off paying extra to insure that kind of S now-days because more incompetent fools than ever were hired to deliver stuff these last four years and I'm sure I don't have to tell you why. All we can really do at this point is just hope for the best and stay prepared for the worst.
ОтветитьPersonally i dont care about muscle cars, and i dont care about hot rods... ive been going to car shows for 10 years now.. and allllll i ever seee are the same muscle/hot rods all the time. chevy nova,s camaros, road runners, ford mustangs and yada yada.. its the same thing over n over.. so thats why i dont care too much... unless its ssomething different like yours youre saying you wont paint. I have a Jeep wagoneer, and a Jeep J10.. something you absolutetly never see.. and yet its the samee muscle cars that always win a trophy.. so that kinda puts me ina cranky mood, because ive spent years, cutting, welding, grinding, and rebuilding them... yet these rich guys just pay others to do the work or buy the cars outright.. I dunno.. no one has apritiation for anything other than the big 3
ОтветитьDD Speed Shop , DD Speed Shop , DD Speed Shop 👌😂🤣
ОтветитьI ordered a Currie 9" drum to drum.
Ответитьmy question is, how can u be living your best life b!tching about other people and what they are or not doing?
ОтветитьJust get your haircut no one cares keep building great cars
ОтветитьJust have the daily driver wrapped it’s cheaper than a paint job. You can change your color anytime you want.
ОтветитьBad Ass Monte Carlo homie
ОтветитьYou shoulda also look into a good paintless dent repair tech to work on your cars, maintain the little dents as they come and will be easier to manage.
ОтветитьI know about jumping from project to project, for me it's a lot of factors like you. I was working on my 2nd 57 BelAir but decided to put that on the back burner because I wanted to hot rod my 31 Model A. And I made that choice because I already have a finished 57 to drive so I want a different car to have "finished". But also, sometimes I get frustrated with something on a project and I have to walk away from it for a bit.
ОтветитьThe car culture has changed dramatically ..cause the mindset of people have changed for the worse ..it's a me,me ,me world n nobody respects anyone or anything anymore ..where back in the day people would help eachother out on the builds they were creating..those days are gone to never return ...car shows now days are a joke . It's all political n there are way to many car shows going on in today's society ..it's just a money maker for some ..ocean city has been a great car festival for decades but in the past years .has become a TICKET FEST way the city makes money ..they invite you to bring your custom car to they're cities car show n then ticket you with outrageous costs for having a custom car ...today's car culture really sucks ass
ОтветитьLove you guys and the content.
ОтветитьExactly, that’s why you get a 35mph paint job, of just buff out what’s there.
ОтветитьMy buddies dad has a real nice 55 he parked on the outskirts of the lot come out someone parked right next to him didn’t hit it but he mule kicked the other car door and dented it for parking next to him way out there .
ОтветитьWhat I love are the people who scoot their rice burners in front of my 57 Bel Air. Like I can stop on a dime, even with Wilwoods up front.
ОтветитьEvery Collector car I have are nice but are driven I'm building a 23 t bucket it's nice but it will be a driver how else are you going to enjoy all your hard work
ОтветитьGlad the truck will be back. Speaking of trucks and painting, I spent 700 hours block sanding my 55 truck in total. Nobody wants to watch that for sure.
ОтветитьThe internet and auctions have ruined everything. Prices people are asking for stuff are insane. A BENCH seat for a 1970 Chevelle that's in great condition, but NOT absolutely perfect going for $1000 on marketplace? WHY!?!?!? It could be a granny car seat! MOST 1970 Chevelle's came with BENCH seats! It's not even close to being a rare part, nor is it particularly desirable, but it's for a 1970 Chevelle, so it must be worth it's weight in gold right? And how many rusted out shitboxes do we see out there selling for over $5,000 because it's a two door anything from 1955-1972? I can see if it's something rare and valuable with matching numbers but rough because it IS rare. When they made over a hundred thousand, or even a million of them, they're NOT rare and NOT worth a premium.
Ответитьfirst a hotrod has to be a hot rod
ОтветитьCan't have nice things in Calgary. Especially if you like old stuff. People think the only thing that matters are Lambos in Calgary.
ОтветитьI always park out of the way, drives me nuts when someone parks close. Nova looks awesome as is.
ОтветитьDang ! I never knew I had a brother !!! as I get ready to go look at a wrecked 94 roadmaster wagon with a driveway full of cars...hey just got my antique title for the 77 Eldo....
ОтветитьI've had no problem with unpainted *finished" in keepers. If you drive it, it will be damaged. Project delays due to parts unavailable is part of life. The worst thing people do is use whatever they have on hand to finish and flip a car. There's always the right part out there if you really want to finish it right.
Ответитьanswering your question I only see that garbage on the internet, or comments here.
Trolls, cranky jealous people and mostly Kids with big mouths.
People love seeing these cars on the road you dont need to make it pretty to be cool!
Living in the real world is refreshing its true reality. Web is just the opposite
Get back to wrenching!
What hub caps and steel wheels size and tires brand and size on the nova?
ОтветитьI bounce around on projects too! It keeps me from getting burned out and so I don’t push through a problem just to get it done and later wish I’d let it sit for a minute and come up with a real solution instead of rushing it .
ОтветитьI've parked a car seemingly in the back pasture and when I come back to it, SOMEONE will either be parked literally up against it, or left their mark on the door, OR BOTH. They, I believe, do it on PURPOSE. Either bc they're jealous, or maybe some environment freak, who thinks that doing whatever, will keep you from driving it. Its sick sad, but your not alone. This has been happening the last 20-25yrs i guess, to me anyway. I've just stopped taking my old car to town, like the grocery store etc. I take it for a drive, period, no parking and going in any place.
ОтветитьWent to the cadillac Grand Nationals in Cherry Hill, and a guy there had a 38 convertible, and he said, I should never have restored it. It's too nice to put my bike in where the spare tire wheel goes on teh front fender..... to me, drive em and if you can make them pretty, do it !!
ОтветитьMy god, who is talking.
ОтветитьStop listening to haters.
ОтветитьI have a couple of buddies with really nice old rods with beautiful paint and they never drive to any place just around and back.
ОтветитьLove the old cars... just can't afford them...
Ответить
