she kinda reminds me of Lycaon, if you switch her stand just enough, you forget she even has physical attacks
I'm so used to lycaon move set and his charged attack that I get surprised when my fingers slip and he deals physical damage

how many basic atks between each EX switch?

I've been deep diving Anomaly mechanics since the game's release, knowing that Anomaly was the future of ZZZ. I'm a bit surprised that it only took 3 patches for it to truly take over, even with Ellen and Zhu Yuan, but with my experiences in HI3, GI, and HSR I could tell right away that this was where the gold was hidden.

People called me crazy for the AP Anby build I had for my v1.0 disorder team back when the only duo was Grace and Piper and look where we are now, building AP on non-anomaly agents sharing an element with an anomaly agent on an anomaly based team is a common thing these days.

What's your opinion on running ER on Disc 6. This kind of build popped to me because I want to play my main DPS on-filed while Yanagi off-field, then switch to Yanagi to do her 3 EXs then switch out. So the ER will help her gain her full energy faster while being off-field.

When I started to play her, that is one thing that I noticed immediately. The importance of Hold E meant dealing more damage over the tap E. By doing so its raining Disorder towards bosses and elites.

her M1 Is Crazy , it gives you i frames and 3 you can get hit 3 times wihtout getting damaged

But holding ex special is canon and looks cool~

Everthing is so wrong here... Jougen stand's 5th attack doesn't have i-frames, making her vulnerable to attacks. So you should always switch stance at the 3rd or 4th. Also if you switch characters during 5th in Jougen she will lose the shield and possibly get hit.

Also Burnice should stay off field as this would be the fastest way to trigger multiple disorder on bosses in this order: Electric>fire(off-field)>electric. Your advice won't work on bosses since the anomaly threshold is much higher.

How could you recommend Burnice's ultimate over Yanagi's? Burnice's ultimate applies very little anomaly compared to Yanagi's. Not to mention the 15% disorder damage...

The real question is how tf am I gonna see if they're shocked or burnt in all of these crazy particle effects all over the places, and you have to check the boss to dodge or parry too. This character doesn't need someone without skill issue, she need someone that doesn't have eye issue

Man making this more complicated than it should...TLDR: no matter what team you are in, you should play her as a on-field hyper carry(brainless spam 345-skill-345) when you have her W-eng, if you dont have the sig. w-eng, dont even bother to pull her(I think there are many videos showing that there is a large performance difference betwen with and without her sig. eng).

In case you wonder Y: if you have the sig. w-eng, the 345 combo give you half the electric anormaly gauage, meaning that 345-swap-345 always pop electric anormaly. In case of brunice, it means you can almost pop the disorder instatnly with the double 345 combo. There are no way you can waste fire anormaly by over charging it. And you alway want to use her charged skill to pop the disorder of her own since most supports except lucy in this game transfer or apply buff to a single character.

Currently, burnice is the only character that fit* as the second anormally character due to her off-field dmg. Other characters like jane and piper(forget about grace...nobody can save her) could work but would not neccessarily make the team better as two characters constantly fighting for the field time, which sacrifice performance of both to some degree. However, a lot of enermies weak to electric but resist to fire and vice versa...so the yanagi-burnice team is not very universal in current meta anyway(that's where the * comes from).

You might wonder why they go through all the troubles to create a "disorder" character that basically play with her own. If you saw the leak of miyabi, you would probably understand Y. Whenever a disorder is poped by any team member, miyabi get 3 stacks. With a maximum 6 stacks, miyabi can perform a powerful laido, which is very similar to the playstyle of acheron in HSR. However, as a crit based off-field dmg dealer with her own anomaly gauage, it is unclear how efficient she can pop anormaly gauage(and unlikely very efficient). Since poping disorder is basically a two-man-job other than yanagi, if you want to gain stack with disorder for miyabi, it is likely you need to rely on the other two characters and I dont think there are many support characters who can pop anormaly every efficiently(seth and M6 lucy I guess?). There are other ways for miyabi to gain stacks(charged skill and ult), so it is unclear how self-suffucient she is, but it certainly would limit your support selection for miyabi team without yanagi.

Guess I'm not most players. I was looking to get even sweatier tbh lol. This was a good guide though, more of a Yanagi intro type though. Also not many people are thinking outside the box regarding team comps. I mean as long as the challenge is completed with an S rank.

does Burnice gameplay here applied to other anomaly like Jane Doe and Piper? cuz the reason for "shock after burn, burn after shock", is because of their sysnergy and dmg from chaos jazz, right? but what how do you play Yanagi with Piper or Jane Doe? is it still the same as switch until you apply element & disorder? or is it just a quick swap and then goes back to Yanagi more often?

Burnice is my favorite character, and I don't care about Yanagi at all. Should I pull Yanagi for Burnice, or should I save for other characters?

I see everybody build their characters in different ways when it comes to disk drive 4 through 6 but I always just straight up go for attack percentage as my main stat everything else is just a bonus to me

So my question is, when I burn with Burnice, then switch to Yanagi to shock for the Disorder, does it stay on shock status, or do I have to Shock again, AND then go back to Bunice to burn for another Disorder? that's the only part I didn't really get. Brilliant video though otherwise.

I've just been playing around with ZZZ and never really delved into the depths, wow this game is more complicated than I realized. I've been using Yanagi in my mono-electric team (replacing the drill dude) and I really enjoy her playstyle. Thanks for the inspiration for the disorder stuff! Apart from Burnice, are there any other characters or elements that would work well with her? I don't have Burnice (just Lucy and the Bear dude for Fire)... but I've got Caesar and Lyceon as potential other elements I could throw in (although I imagine they're not great at it).

something to Add, you don't have to EX special to block/parry OR continue the rotation, you can get 3-4-5- Special - 3-4-5 - special, and as long as you tap special it'll keep dancing. This is nice when you want to build up energy. on top of that the horizontal (Blue) stance can be ran twice 3-4-5-3-4-5-Special-3-4-5-special-3-4-5-3-4-5. on top of that you don't have to time her specials/ex specials to block parries, i mean you can try, but if you just run the 3-4-5-special, if the enemy does a parryiable attack within 2 seconds of the special it will block it anyways. you get to where its almost a detriment to try to go out of your way to parry and you'll parry a lot of them anyways just stance dancing. Lastly damage is such that I would wait to use my EX specials, if its mobs its what ever but for bosses you can normally get 2 good full EX specials inbetween a 3-4-5 EX rotation, so really you'd want 3 EX specials saved, 3-4-5 EX Special - Stun - Chain Attack 1 - 2 - 3, Switch Back, EX special - 3 - 4 - 5 - EX special. So saving up a big 3 hit EX special is a big reason you wouldn't want to just blow your EX special in the field unsupported by anything else.

On Burnice-Yanagi, do you recommend Lucy, Seth, or Rina? I have M1 Rina, M3 Lucy, M6 Seth, signature w-engines for all 3 though only Seth and Lucy's are T2

i heard people saying that her kit was complex but i forgot about the stance switching because i didnt really plan on getting her but decided to pull later on and i have been playing her brainlessly, just switching stance at the beginning and then using her ex skill when its up or switching stances again when noticing only one is active. i knew there must be something that i missed. thanks for explaining everything so well, i will now stop spamming her ex skill :D
