Ms. Gundersen has a unique talent to drag out an emotion you weren’t even aware you might have, inspect it, put it in its right perspective and put it back intact like a glass artisan. While the process is sometimes painful, the end result is more glorious and whole and worth it. Emotions run high and low and you find yourself challenged as, much like life, things sometimes get messy and are less than perfect, but the end result of change is worth it. That and the fact that she uses real Canadian details always connects. Thank you.

Kind of adore this series. I really wasn’t expecting to like it. I’m only experimenting with audiobooks and I’m VERY particular about my hockey romances. These books seemed to check most my boxes. Accurate hockey information, duel pov, complex mmc’s, and I’m not normally a fan of a few of the tropes in this series but thoroughly enjoyed all of these stories.
