Love both boxers. Have watched the fight three times. Had 116-112 Beterbiev. I think people automatically assumed before the fight if it goes to points it’s bivols. They can’t get over the fact that the puncher outboxed the boxer.

During the first triple g versus canelo fight canelo backtracked all throughout the fight in Garcia pointed out did canelo have beautiful ring generalship with his back steps and side movements then during the second triple g and canelo fights he claimed that canelo was walking triple g down while triple g was using the lateral movements just like canelo did in the first fight. They're biases clearly don't let doesn't allow them to see what's clearly happening doesn't allow them to see what's really happening in the fight

Hard to say who convincingly won. I had it a draw at best. Bivol convincingly won 6 rounds MINIMUM, he faltered because he was not busy in the last 3 rounds, but no way Beterbiev convincingly won the fight at all, he won 6 rounds AT BEST, one of which could have been given to Bivol too if I were favouring him. A draw would have made the most sense in this case since they both had their moments. The judge giving Bivol only 4 rounds should see an optometrist. That's just crazy bullshit.

I had it a draw, neither fighter deserved to lose. Really enjoyed the fight, high level stuff. Beterbiev showed the world he can box and has high fight iq. I thought Bivol would box his head off and catch him clean on the way in. At times Beterbiev was out boxed but he out manned and out fought Bivol. It depends which type of fight the judges liked the most. In the end Bivol got on his bike and ran. He got bossed those last two rounds.
