All hail the master...so many other guitarists say he's the guy. Who could disagree? The sounds and textures created so seemingly effortlessly are otherworldly and always leave me stunned and amazed. The thing about Jeff is his music is so much more than technique. I feel like he's able to make us hear exactly what he's hearing - how many musicians can really do that?

Well, I'm always completely in awe of Jeff. But Jeez Louise, Vinnie is just so completely of fire here. "Stratus" is astounding. Bravo for all of 'em, and it's cool to see Jason Rebello here gracefully providing the keyboard textures.

I've spent the last 35 years chasing jam bands around the country and never really gave Jeff a real listen. All I can say is, Wow! A true virtuoso. He played so many different styles and all the songs have rhythm, but I'm sure some of that is due to the amazing drummer-he's a monster also. Man, sure wish I would have seen this cat live... Thanks for posting.

I was crushed when he died, but, unlike my other rock heroes, he doesn’t elicit sadness because he, and his endless puckish creative spirit is with me every day. It’s a strange reaction, perhaps, but that’s okay; I can see remarkable videos like this.
