The Bench Dog Pound keeps bench dogs and other 3/4 inch accessories organized and accessible, both while on the workbench and while hanging on a cleat wall.
The hole board is 3/4 inch thick plywood, 8.5 by 10 inches. It has 30 holes (five columns and 6 rows). I used a Shaper Origin CNC router to make the holes, and it you want to use that file you can get it here:
https://hub.shapertools.com/creators/5fb124fb8009d8000f0ca018/shares/64beb8051521451763f9a30c. Of course the file is very easy to make and if you don't have a CNC it is easy to make the hole board with a hand drill.
You'll need a french cleat 8.5 inches long. The key piece is a wedge made from 3/4 inch stock, 8.5 inces long and about 4 inches wide. The video shows how I used my planer and a scrap stick to cut the wedge.
Workshop Improvement of the Week is my woodworking vlog. I'm trying to make an improvement to my workshop every week. Some large improvements (like dust collection) and some smaller improvements (like a new bench hook). Hand tools, power tools, accessories and projects. Please like and subscribe!
