To be honest theres always been a tinge of Nazism in alternative culture. There are racist punks, Racist metal heads, Goths and Emo's so i'm not surprised the NSBM community is a thing. People try and say you can't be alternative and racist but those people are naive and most likely joined the alternative fashion thanks to tiktok two years ago making ALT cool. Having been such a fan of black metal since I was a kid and then as I grew through adulthood my shift into being a Leftist was really disheartening. Discovering the RABM movement was such a feeling of joy.

My favorite band is Opeth.
I couldn’t care less about lyric’s social or political meaning. Most of Opeth’s lyrics are just fictional stories to go with the music.
Personally, all I care about is the actual music.
I’m sure there are a lot of bands whose overall sound I really enjoy but I try real hard NOT to figure out whatever silly message they may be trying to convey.
I’m probably in the minority though?
