These videos are phenomenal. It is really interesting to see how the fashion, gear, lingo etc have changed but the mountain, and the running that we do on it has not changed at all. Thank you for uploading this footage!

Matt, thank you for posting this. My personal copies of the VHS tapes from '86 onwards are either damaged or missing. My memories of this era have mostly faded, so it's pretty amazing to see myself and my fellow competitors back in the day. Again -- greatly appreciate you. 🤗 Scott Elliott

This is so cool Matt, thank you for sharing. It is so neat to see this after only ever seeing the results online. I always imagined Mejia and his previous victory in 92 motivated you to run your best in 1993. I hope to see you again out on the local trails and/or your skyrunner signature on the summit registers around the local peaks.
