As Cali's demographics deteriorate, they elect more and more stupid leaders that have no clue how to run anything. Management of utility companies, forest management, development permits, fire departments - all are a direct or indirect consequence of this stupidity.  It is truly sad. While I feel sad for the folks who are about to lose property (or worse), they share the blame to the extent that they voted for all of this.

Maybe shutting off the electricity quickly to thousands of homes and keeping the generators going caused the 240kv power line coming from the geothermal power plant to overload and spark a fire. But I really don't know how the electric grid functions, just wondering about the timing of the power line failure, was it a coincidence or not?

First the damn near Sacramento threatened to burst and we lived along the American River in the Folsom and would have been effected. Then there was a huge fire, the Camp fire and 87 people died. The infrastructure is crumbled and Democrats just fiddle as CA burns. PG&E continues to kill people while making massive profits. Get out people while you still can.

Most of the fire fighters are prison slaves whom have chosen to face 100 ft high flames and whirl winds of fire rather than another day of prison rape, beatings and life in a cage. There should have been squadrons of water tanker jets on ready alert at Vandenberg Air Force Base ... instead of B-52s armed with nukes at Charleston Air Force Base. $5 Trillion spent on military war crimes, $9 trillion for the US Space Command, a $750 billion dollar military budget, and $1 trillion in subsidies to Big Oil, but all we get are a few helicopters carrying big water buckets?!
