They spend most on healthcare because it's a big business, it's not designed to help people's health. . It's designed to make money... Top that up with low food standards and lobbying - just the perfect combo!

We do not have a problem with healthcare, our medical care is the best in the world. We have a problem with health insurance. We have disrupted the natural capitalist order of supply and demand. As patients we have no idea how much a medical procedure costs. We are clueless as to how much it would cost at one hospital versus another. Medical care does not publicize prices. We cannot make informed decisions about the costs of treatment. We also have to pay the medical care of millions of illegal aliens who live in this country for years and do not pay for their own healthcare. It is disingenuous to compare the US to European or Canadian healthcare, when Europe does not consider babies born under a certain weight as live births and the US does and Canada is trying to euthanize everyone with even the slightest health problems.

Is he literally blaming the healthcare system for people being lazy sacks of shit and stuffing their faces with twinkies? Gtfo…that’s why America is the unhealthiest country in the world.

Mark Normand is not funny in the slightest, and he is a moron to boot. Hearing this interview has only proven that.

Your healthcare system is definitely not broken..

It's just designed to extract capital to the share holders.

The way mark made his argument and heard the rebuttal, and responded with “maybe you’re right, that’s a good point” is refreshing to hear. He didn’t get outraged because his statement faced opposition. He simply replied with an open mind and willingness to be corrected or challenged. Shows real confidence and maturity. Crazy that a comedian who farts on his own mic regularly and talks about getting h.pylori from eating so much ass, is more rational and composed than most journalist, political commentators and people in govt. “COMEDY”

Try to spend more on nutrition education instead of medical care. Is far better. Give it a try. You will be surprised.

Our healthcare system is broken by government, lawyers, fraud and subsidizing politics. The wakeup call doesn't come from ignoring all of it and attacking insurance.
