House hunting in the most beautiful city in Southern Italy - Lecce Puglia

Lecce is the only town in Puglia where I didn't feel safe during my holiday. The town was full of illegal African migrants who tried to rob me. I had to run in order not to be attacked, and that never happened to me before in any city in Italy. Maybe I was just unlucky? The statistics don't seem to back up my personal experience.
Just outside Lecce my rental car nearly went swimming when I found myself in the centre of a hurricane. I was told hurricanes are common in Puglia.
I like both properties you showed. They have great potential for B&B.

I see this all over Italy. The building is almost always split. Well, who owns the building? Who pays for maintenance? Who's the authority? Is it a Co-op? I've never seen anyone with one of these channels address this. Seems important. This question is open to anyone who can answer. Thank you

When you said all that beautiful pastry and coffee was about 9.5 Euro it really made me mad at Starbucks in the U.S for charging about 15 dollars for one substandard meh pastry and a coffee. What is going on with pricing in the US?

Beautiful video. The first property is awful and, considering what it is, rather expensive. Those horrible tiles from the 1960s made me sick! 🤮 (LOL) The second property was very good and considering the price, a real bargain. If I wanted to live in a small town I would buy that place straight away. Thank you very much for your video, your observations and the fantastic food you showed us.

Your videos are fantastic. Well done. Really enjoy when you hand draw a map of home prior to review, very helpful. One suggestion would be to mention if the home qualifies for the 7% tax treatment as I’m sure some of your viewers would like to know.
