Beware of These Los Angeles Process Server Scams!

What if they're giving you an internal case number

A lady called me said she was from parish process server and the case number so and so was delivered to previous address and for me to stop getting failure to appears to call them immediately

I literally just got a scammer try this on me about 2 hours ago. I of course didnt fall for it cause I know that real process servers NEVER call you they just serve you. I also followed up after blocking caller by calling my clerk of court, who confirmed that I had no cases open or pending litigation

I had someone call my wife to reach me we couldn’t understand her and she gave us a case number and she gave me 833 phone number I don’t think she’s real . Because wife try to call her back kept on ringing and she never got anyone to answer. Is this a scammer

Thanks for the information. I got a call a couple of months ago from "Orange County Process Servers". They had some of my personal information already (name, address, wife's name). Anyway, this guy said they had sent a process server out earlier that morning (but we never saw anyone). He said there was pending litigation associated with my address/property. We just bought the house, so I think he was trying to scare us into thinking that somehow there was an unresolved issue with the property that we'd just purchased. I ended up hanging up on him because he didn't sound legit at all... pushy, demanding, etc. He called back and left a voicemail, this time from "Process Service in Orange County" (he flipped the name). He said to call the attorney's office and then gave me a phone number and case number, and then said, "THIS IS YOUR FINAL NOTICE." It was a little disconcerting, but in the end what he was saying just didn't make sense. Thankfully I didn't give him any personal information that he didn't already know.

How can they get ur last 4 ssn tho.

Said to call back at some 855 number i forgot case id number but i know its a scam

I had one call me from..private number saying i have a pend judgment or something from a state i havent lived in for over 8 years. They even knew my last 4 of my ssn and the county inthat state i have not lived in that state for at least 8 years.
