(San Bernardino, CA) After retiring from decades in sales, lifelong musician and carpenter Rich Briggs of Upland began crafting one-of-a-kind guitars from recycled materials such as cigar boxes, hubcaps and toilet seats. To date, he’s made — and sold — thousands of unique instruments, some to celebrities and some recorded on Hollywood soundtracks.
