I have a questions, I'm not sure if you can answer it. I have thick curly hair and if I do it while wet, it will frizz. My hair also takes almost 2days to dry, and its cold outside. So, I'm not trying to get sick for going outside in Nov w/wet hair.lol How would I do my hair after its dried and if I curl it should I just pin curl it? May sound silly but you sem like a pro at this that's why I'm asking. Thank you advance.
Ответитьyou really pull this look off really well! you look very classic :)
ОтветитьI would not do a wet set for sure. Just mist the hair damp with a setting solution or the Layrite Grooming Spray (or something like it). Then allow to dry for a few hours. If you don' wet it fro the roots, it should hold but not take a long time to dry. :)
ОтветитьYes indeed. I love them.
ОтветитьThat's so funny . I also love watching women set their hair , and since you mentioned that you watched your mother , it got me thinking . I grew up with my grandmother , and I think that's where I got my love for all things vintage . My Nanny always set her hair , and I loved watching her . Thanks fo your post ... got me thinking of some happy memories :) <3
Ответитьamazingly easy thanks 4 the upload
Ответитьi love it.
Ответитьyou remind me of julia roberts
ОтветитьJust pulled out my curls and brushed and styled, I feel so pretty and lovely today and it's been a while since I've felt like that, thanks ;)
ОтветитьI love this post :)
ОтветитьLisa, I love it!!! You are amazing!!!! <3
ОтветитьVery , very good. You made it look early 50's as apposed to 30's. Quick trick is to round brush out the curls with a blow dryer.
ОтветитьThanks Jeff...yeah, the photo is from the early 50s so that was the look I was going for. :) And personally I find that using a blow dryer on my pin curls takes away a lot of the wave. However, I always encourage my viewers to try different methods until they find what works for them.
ОтветитьPin curl is pretty tricky for me. I always seem to question myself if its incorrect. Love your hair coclor

ОтветитьWould this work if I did it all with sponge rollers? My hair is jawline length graduated bob and ive tried with those clips, and my hair is so fine they just fall out.
ОтветитьShould work fine. :)
ОтветитьSe puede hacer con rulos?
Ответитьsi. :)
ОтветитьGraciassssss
ОтветитьI love this! I was really wanting to do this for my Jr. Prom but I have the same hair type as you so I was wondering what the spray was, and where I could get it? Thank you SOOO much!!
ОтветитьIf your hair is in longer layers, is it the same diagram to pin curl? Where did you get your clips?
ОтветитьYes it is. And the clips are from Sally Beauty.
ОтветитьYour tutorials inspired me - cut my hair last week for the first time in 24 years ( i was a teen then!) and tried this style for Easter. Loved it! Cheers :)
ОтветитьMy hair is a lot thicker than yours, and curly - would the same process work on my hair? :)
ОтветитьHi there, are you familiar with "hairator"? Just take a look at their website address at http://hairator.com On their website I have found a revolutionary and pain-free hair removal method that requires no more waxing or shaving. In fact, this specific method has even been highlighted in Vogue. It made it possible for Kenny to get long lasting silky skin. Hopefully it will work for you too.
Ответитьthats amazing
ОтветитьSuch a great video and great song! Billy Lee Riley is great and so is your hair.
ОтветитьI just found your channel and I am loving your videos Thank you :)
ОтветитьLoved it!
Ответить*You're* a sweetheart. ;-)
ОтветитьBEAUTIFUL!!
ОтветитьHello, have you considered "HAiRator"? Simply just search Google. There I discovered a great and painfree hair removal solution which involves zero shaving, waxing or other outdated methods. Actually, that method has even been highlighted in Time Magazine. This helped Kenny to enjoy enduring touchable skin. Perhaps it will help you also.
ОтветитьI've been doing it wrong this entire time! No wonder it doesn't work! Thank you for this video!
ОтветитьThanks for this video!! Very usefull!
ОтветитьI want to watch more
ОтветитьDo you ever sleep in the pin curls? I'd love to do this hairstyle for school :3
ОтветитьYes all the time...:)
Ответитьdo you color your hair?
ОтветитьI have thick coarse hair that is chin length. What would I need to do to be sure the pin curls turn out right or look pretty no matter what????
ОтветитьHi there! Love your videos, they're so helpful and have improved my own vintage hair like you wouldn't believe :D I was just wondering where you got your pin curl lips from. Thanks heaps :) xo
ОтветитьHello! Thank you so much for your video. This is my first time doing pin curls. I watched several videos and yours was the mots helpful! I rolled my pin curls in both directions sort of randomly, so I am not sure how this will all work! I am having a bit of trouble figuring out how to section my hair for the pin curls. Also, I can't quite get my pin curls to stand up as nicely as yours do and I don't know exactly how to put the pin in the curl. I have the curls in now so I am going to set them overnight. Could you possibly do a more detailed video on varieties of ways to form the pin curls, how to section the hair, and how to pin them? Perhaps you already have this video. Thank you!
ОтветитьFaaaantastic video. Thank you sooooo much! Love your accent
Ответитьreally loved and am going to benefit from this video since my hair falls right on my shoulders! thank you!
P.s i love all your videos
not to be a grammar nazi >u< I just learned this in science. but Malleability is the ability to flatten something into a sheet with a mallet. xD I dont think you want that for your hair lol. Thought it was funneh
ОтветитьI tried this hairstyle this morning! It's almost midnight and It still looks fantastic! Thank you!
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьThank you for turning all the way around and letting us see the back when curlers are done. I always wonder how do women curl the back of their hair. Lol, very useful to know......
ОтветитьRevisiting this video makes me so nostalgic
I learned to do vintage curls thanks to finding this video in college and still use everything I learned watching your hair videos to this day doing my own and friends hair
