That’s so crazy - I had the very same experience that Melanie had - hubby and I had gone to NOLA on one of our very first baecations after baby 2 and I almost had a lil panic attack thinking about our kids back in LA. I’m from LA so earthquakes don’t bother me but my kids hadn’t ever experienced it. Auntie said they were good so I chilled lol.

I really wanted to hear what Mel was gong to say about adult friendships with the opposite sex. Can that be a topic you all touch on because I've had so many convo around this with both men and women. There's so many varying views that I'm interested to hear you alls.

Great perspective on guns in the home especially around children.

“I’m too angry. Do you know the along of people I would’ve shot” - why is she me 😂😂😂😂 !! I’m from the UK, so the whole gun culture is a myth to me

Ashley is the type of parent that I strive to be. I’ve enjoyed watching her and her family throughout the years.

After hearing Ashley out with regards to her fears. It seems like she has PTSD from her previous experiences that she needs to work on through therapy. Once she works on her own anxiety she will be more trusting of life and how God has her back ❤ As a parent I’ve learned that all we can do is guide and teach our children to be aware of our surroundings and just trust that what we’ve taught them has been cemented in their thick heads 😂

THANK YOU ASHLEY FOR SAYING BAD THINGS WERE NOT MEANT TO BE!!! I don’t understand for the life of me why people say that, and even worse, as a comfort. Make it make sense!

I love her preface but I feel as though there are places where us as black American people are wanted and welcome and us being institutionalized of our nation can give the illusion that this is the best there is for us and our families . I understand comfort in the way things work and enjoying the fruits of our ancestors labor. However, as someone with a well traveled family and grandparents I can say that there are places we can enjoy living and not have trauma attached to it . sent with love just perspective. all in all do what makes you feel happy
