This was my first time seeing her skate live. Her jumps cover double the ice of any other women in the competition. The crowd liked isabeau and Starr, but went INSANE for Amber.

There were better replay angles on Peacock that showed it clearly UR, with significant ice coming up and hooked tracing on the ice.

Horrible technique with pre rotation, plus under rotated.

why were no jumps at nationals marked under? both josephine’s and isabeau’s combos in their shorts were so clearly under, and this was maybe a borderline q to fully rotated

With 3 out of 4 successful attempts this season, does she go no holds barred and finally put it back in the short? This one may have been on the q but otherwise it was gorgeous!

Why is everyone surprised by the scores? It is nationals, they always inflate it.

Don't care for her skating at all. If the US could get a skater that has upper body skills like Mia Kalin who seems to be quite inspired by Kamila Valieva, trying to imitate her upper body arm and hand movements although nobody does it like Kamila, and improve her spins, overall artistry and component skills as well as jumping technique, then the US could actually have a really beautiful skater. Amber Glenn does not have IT and Levito is much more beautiful to watch than Amber but she's lacking in other ways. So far Mia is the only skater that looks interesting and promising. Although I will say at her age Kamila was already highly advanced but the Russians train much harder younger. Amber Glenn does not deserve to be a world or Olympic champion she just is not a beautiful skater by any measure and I don't care if she has a triple axle, under rotated or not, still a snooze to watch

The axel and her power and speed are always amazing but the girl has zero self-efficacy. I hope this win and Isabeau's butt polishing the ice is enough for the federation to get her a sports psychologist or self-efficacy coach. Amber has no self-efficacy after bombing out so many times. Amber is too good to let it go to waste.

Kamila Valieva is better. Amber Glenn has no talent.
