As I was watching this my govee t2 was spot on with all the colors yeah it has a camera but you can put it on the bottom if it bothers you that muchy. DIY it to the bottom and the govee is 150$ cheaper

I'm glad someone is making a syncbox for smaller TVs I have a 48 A2 just for an office so until govee makes one for smaller TVs this might be the solution

Well considering both Govee and Hue debuted their 2.1 sync boxes something tells me this fancy brand is gonna fall by the wayside. Glad to see other brands are forcing hue to get off their butt though.

does this works on the apps from the tv itself?

I'm not sure why anyone would buy this product, it's not open source, and it still can't handle HDR.. literally everything out there in A/V uses HDR or Dolby Vision. And neither are supported by this thing...

Does this also work on a normal TV without Playstation or Xbox so with a normal TV show on TV? And does it also work with Google Home?

Why would I not just get the Lytmi Fantasy 3? Its $5 more for 50% more leds and 3 more hdmi ports as well as better color accuracy...

I prefer the Govee because with this you can only have one hdmi device connected and with the govee you don't have that problem becuase it uses a camera and also won't be outdated when a new hdmi, refresh rate ou hdr comes out.

Hi, if I have an HDMI 2.1 splitter. Does everything work as it should if I switch between the hdmi?

I'm using the Phillips Hue Sync Box for my TV and I also have Phillips Hue Lamps for my Room. I have a RGB Stripe from Philipps Hue too but it's not as goood because it falls off on my table and my Wall is Green so the colors are wrong. I have also ICUE Smart Tower but they are not really Syncing. Do you have better recommendations?

I don’t like passing video through a box, it only degrades the signal. I like the camera on the Govee because of that.

Excessive flickering and strobe effects. There is unlikely to be any immersion in what's happening on the screen with such intense flickering. Fancy devs need to further refine this product for a more comfortable viewing experience.

However, with Philips, the backlight is more adapted for viewing, free from strobing. The backlight color is not simply chosen based on edge continuation principles, but rather on the predominant color shade.

I imagine govee is going to announce an HDMI 2.1 sync box at CES. It's the next natural step

Why do people wants lights? When u go to the movies do they have a light show going on around it? Way to distracting you should get lost in the movie in darkness.

Hopefully products like this makes Philips wake the fuck up from their long, long nap of absolute irrelevance and nothing of any significance. Honestly, their sync box is well and truly showing it's age and their zones are lacking badly.
