I’m 32 and I am just starting to invest for the first time in my life. I have started contributing to my 401K and opened a Roth IRA with automatic contributions. My question is, does asset allocation even matter at first, or am I just overthinking this?

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

Hey guys, urgent topic for you to cover. Would really help a lot of people out. Apparently in several states, HSA eligible plans are no longer being offered in marketplace. So we need to make a choice. Forfeit $850 in subsidy / tax credit per month or stop contributing to an HSA. I am so livid this is happening I which there was something we could do.

Right…. That’s 32 years though. So you’d have to start at 20. 99.9999999% of people can’t save nearly $600/month in their 20s. MOST people start in their 30s. And that’s my problem with this show. You’ll be dead before you hit a million. Based on historical inflation, for $1 million today, you’ll need $2.35 million in 32-34 years to match. So you’re always behind. This is why people would rather enjoy things now, because you ain’t getting shit in the future either.

It took me 6 years to get to $100k, but only 2 years each to reach $200k and $300k even though my savings rate is well below what it used to be. Compound interest is great!

I will say that this vid looks crisp and modern, BUT... there is a special 'I'm chatting with my friends' vibe that I get from the back and forth with the dynamic duo/trio. Don't lose sight of that on your way to 1M subs :)
