While in magic world, we meet lightning bolt, fire golem, spell etc.... In science world we will meet cloning, railgun, dark matter, laser, robotic, etc....

Actually it's very unique theme because two worlds mashed together

With index you need to get past the first ARC then the better parts starts.

I do not recommend this anime to know the universe of "to aru series" touma is a obnoxious self-righteous asshat it is better to see only To aru kagaku no Railgun. Seriously if I'd have started with Index rather than Railgun I would've dropped it almost immediately.

Flash Facts:
- The To Aru Majutsu no Index(literally meaning A Certain Magical Index) is originally an ONGOING Light Novel.
- The Accelerator and the Railgun anime are basically side stories from the Light Novel that have been adapted into their own side series.
- Season 2 ended at a weird spot. Us the novel readers had to wait roughly like ~7 years for the 3rd season to be finally aired.
- The Light Novel is split into two parts. The To Aru Majutsu no Index part that ends right where the Season 3 of the anime ended and then the ongoing part which is titled To Aru Majutsu no Index New Testament. The current material of New Testament is enough for AT THE VERY LEAST 2 anime seasons of 26 episodes each.

honestly its no surprise that people stop committing to the series. I can highly recommend to somehow get through the crappy season 1 of index, all following seasons and the spinoff series are rewarding the commitment for sure

Even people who never saw anime knows Accelerator is the best.

This franchise is amazing. I actually just showed it to my friend and we just finished season 3 of Index. I love how the warped setting of Academy city brings out either the best or the worst of its inhabitants. The Espers are far more interesting to me than any of the Magicians, but I love how each characters' circumstances push them forward.
