Useless feature from BMW just to trap UK drivers into German T-Mobile contracts, don't they know we are paying already for unlimited data on our phones? The worst thing is, BMW won't let you turn your Phone into a Hotspot either. how much more you want to squeeze BMW? The weird thing is they advertise the car with HOTSPOT but they won't tell you upfront that is chargeable.

After 30 minutes online with WEB ID solutions, taking pictures of my ID and me, I realized that I wont use this service because I have unlimit data on my phone... As everyone in EU I guess, It should be for free in UE, otherwise is useless...

I already have unlimited data on my iphone 12 pro max via att so no need to pay more for hotspot WiFi . The issue I am having is while using the apple car play using the WiFi of the car ( wireless connection) I cannot get internet on my phone, or using google maps on the car ( 2021 M550i ) I drive 7

At £10 a month for just 1GB? Just fuck off. I already pay £35 per month for unlimited data at home via my fibre connection. I pay another £25 per month for my cellphone contract, for which I get more data than I can eat and I already resent having to pay twice.
Whoi in their right mind is going to pay another tenner a month for just 1GB? What can you do with 1GB?
This feature is so badly misconceived it is just a useless waste of hardware.

Hello BMW, looking for help please, I have imported 530e from Japan to New zealnd and trying to map (add) vehicle into my BMW connected drive, but its not working, have tried to contact connected drive support in New zealand and had no luck at all, I would love to purchase some upgrades from connected drive store for my vehicle but can't do that untill this vehicle has been added in to my BMW ID, your exper help would be much appreciated.
