ОтветитьNice video and good job guys. Take care and have a blessed and safe day
ОтветитьI have been watching Guilty of treason ,JAKES channel an you coordinated a job with him ,now i also subscribe to your channel, good job .
ОтветитьYou had a lot of variety to show with the rigging, felling, and climbing. Was fun to watch. I also like how you let your crew rib you about stuff and you don't get sour about it. I've never had a boss like that. Good job, man.
ОтветитьIf Chad says funny things definitely put him on comms lol
ОтветитьWhat happened to the old crew
ОтветитьYou gotta stop one handing that saw so much man, climb high and stay safe 👊
ОтветитьNice work team.
lol .. we are all kids in the trees.
Why didn’t you tie into another tree when you did the first one? If you were removing them anyways you could’ve limbed out the one you wanted to tie into, got a high point and been able to work safer. Cool stuff tho
ОтветитьThat was one horrible tree😮 awesome video man. Keeping it fun and professional at the same time. Take care!
ОтветитьNice work Tim always enjoy your videos! Good sense of humor and getting work done. 👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьLooks like a fun little grove of trees to take out. I think your helper needs to be a little more safety minded and step away from the tree a little after cutting it. Also not be in the direction of fall when someone else is dropping a tree. Anything can go wrong and safety is not third in this business.
ОтветитьI've noticed that when you do a tie in with your safety rope, you always put an over hand knot in the loose end after the bowline, which is a good idea to back it up. Not sure if you know that tree surgions are basically the last of the professional climbers to use a bownline for thier own safety line, which is because they started out using ropes that are much closer to the ropes used on sailing boats that the bowline works really well in (it's also what I was tought in collage over 25 yeats ago). The big problem with the bowline is that it isn't quite as secure in modern climbing ropes as it was in the old braided climbing ropes. What I'm trying to say is that I wish that more tree surgions would actually backup their bowlines.
A safer backup knot would be to use a full stopper knot (2 wraps around the rope instead of 1 in an overhand), which can be tied around the rope next to your free end coming out of the bowline (so around the loop part of the bowline). Even better would be to tie a rethreaded bowline or bowline on a bight right at the end of the rope. The free end of the rope can then be tied in a stopper knot around the main part of the rope that you are hanging from.
I'm probably going to make a video showing this and I'll add that to this post or to a comment. But it's a thought that climbers may want to consider.
Great video, thanks 😊
