You forgot the bit where the advertiser yells " I must be CRAAAAAAZY to offer you a deal this good!" while in a straightjacket. Or using the product for something extremely ridiculous that it was never designed for, like demonstrating the tensile strength of a wash cloth by tying one end to the back of a monster truck and the other to a dump truck and flooring the gas.

Also, note how many "cleaning" products are named after something filthy, or at least read at a glance something that registers as filthy, such as the CIF venereal disease, erm I mean bathroom cleaner, or the CLIT BANG whatever cleaner (that's how I read it every time, anyway).

Beats me why these chemical companies can't just call their stuff "Sparkle McCleany" or something that at least vaguely suggests something sanitary.

This is more the confused and jumble dream my mind put together from commercial fragments while I fell half asleep in front my grandma's television.

The scary part is that this is actually more toned-down than the original advert it was based on.

Red Dwarf fan here, was surprised to find an entire line of “SMEG” cooking appliances at the shop the other day.

God this reminds me of the old double glasing adverts. "Ya buy one you get one free, i said you buy one you get one free !, top banana !".

One of the insperations for this was the Safestyle UK windows and doors, from the early 2000s: "Ya buy one ya get one free, asay ya buy one free, call nooooow!", starting a shouty bloke called Jeff Brown from Burnley, who turned out to be a tax evader.
