If you have installed a TV card on your PC with the software Power Cinema 3.0 you can watch and record TV or Radio just by pressing the record button.

I know how to do this, but how about recording off an Android Box? The Android box doesn't have coaxial cable outputs or inputs neither does the Hauppage recording device. This video is outdated LOL.

Can it go straight to an external HD instead of a computer and save the video in MP4 formats that could be played on any device the external HD was connected to? Or does it not work to plug straight into an external HD? Just in case a laptop may not be updated enough for video recording successfully.. Thanks
