I love, love ,love Yvie.
ОтветитьI had Yvie's back the second she open her mouth! I cried happy tears when she won! LOVE YOU YVIE STAY REAL!
ОтветитьYvie Oddly does not need the judges to validate her at all. She was validated by the public on her season. She's a winner!!!
ОтветитьI was a punk when i was younger and my husband says i still am) and i tend to fall for those out of drag.and/or in drag who are more alternative or punk right away.
So i just loved her from the second she walked out; and then pretty much everything she did.
Watching Project Runway, i was visibly hurt when one of the weirder designers would get sent away too soon. I think that creative reality shows are letting the weirdos express themselves more and I appreciate that they've gotten that it makes for good TV.
I think a lot of us are just starving for authentic creativity.
oh gosh she's always complaining, so boring. some people are never ok, never happy with what they get...that is a TV show, why she pretend is not. so fake.
ОтветитьLove the laughter of Yvie throughout this interview
ОтветитьGreat interview, thank you for this. Love Yvie, true artist.
ОтветитьGreat interview!
ОтветитьIs her look inspired by Azis's 2000's era? Hop hop slay💅
ОтветитьA video of Ru falling holds too much power
ОтветитьI love Yvie!!
ОтветитьWhat an absolute legend. How lucky you are to just chill with her like this and yet you kept it just professional enough without being formal. 😎😇
ОтветитьSexual isolation?!?!! Never heard of that before
ОтветитьI love Yvie ❤ and I’m so glad she is exposing all the shenanigans that rupaul and producers/unqualified judges are trying to fit drag into a perfect little box.
ОтветитьI hope her next book is called “2001: A Space Oddity”
Ответитьi love yvie so much <3
ОтветитьOne of my favorite episodes oh my God I adore yvie oddly ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️ so excited for drag con knowing about yvie being there ❤️❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьYvie- I know this will probably never actually reach you but I am one of your biggest fans. I’m a trans person who is interested in drag but I never thought I could do it bc I’m disabled. But seeing you on the show gave me so much hope and joy. I know you think you didn’t come across well (and that is so tragic to hear😢) but you literally are my hero. you saved my perception of drag and disability and how they CAN intersect and work together! Your line “Don’t call me weak, I put the ‘able’ in ‘disabled’” in the talent show number on AS7 was my favorite line i’ve ever heard on RDR bc it hits so close to home. I love you, Yvie, and you are such a joy and inspiration to me. Keep doing what you’re doing, girl!! i’m a proud “queerdo”, and all hail the Queen!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis was an incredible interview, so much love for Yvie! AS7 was fun to watch and I'd love a second all winners. But hearing how badly WoW fumbled the bag behind the scenes, I fear that we won't see a second one. As Yvie and others spill on how poorly they were treated and more winners hear about it, why WOULD they want to sign up for that?
ОтветитьI ❤ you Yvie.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite queens....of all time!!!!!!!!!!!
Ответить"Wow started COVID" had me cacklingggg 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьShe’s real, yeah. Feels like burning the bridges with DragRace, but also I think she’s just finding her spot of the queen of drama. Would be perfect for her when she’ll be handicapped 🫢🫢🫢
ОтветитьAnd Yvie Oddly wins Best Laugh!
ОтветитьOne of the best winners, and an overall incredible artist ❤. Love you so much, Yvie!
Ответитьwhen rupaul dies wow better post that footage of rupaul falling because i know someone had to have saved the footage. backwards and release it
ОтветитьInteresting to see how RuPaul ALWAYS repeats that mantra about "not taking yourself too seriously, the key to success is to let loose" bla bla bla, but she wouldn't allow the footage of herself falling over because she doesn't allow herself to look a fool. She needs to be perfect but that would make her more human
ОтветитьThis is amazing. Yvie is my favorite. Having her on here is so amazing. I’m just like in awe
ОтветитьAlways such a pleasure to hear Yvie speak, and even better to hear her uncensored/unproduced. Yvie is definitely one of my spirit animals. :3
ОтветитьI think they didn’t air the critiques to protect the judges from the fandom.
That’s really horrible to say and not a critic anymore.
this is a great interview! so insightful, true and detailed. I can’t wait to read the book!
ОтветитьYvie will forever be one of my favorite queens ever! So authentic and so unique and in all honesty, deserves everything she has accomplished and more!
About the season being rigged, i felt that the moment jinkx got blocked and the next challenge was a design challenge. HOWEVER, i am really sorry, i love jinkx so much if it wasn't her, i wanted Yvie or Trinity to win!
I'm not surprised that Jinkx agreed. Monet won that last lip sync. No question. And no one was fooled by the last minute dubbed in voiceover of 'and your overall record for the season'. The levels were totally different on that one line. It was obvious it was added afterward to justify Monet not winning after that lip sync.
ОтветитьI LOVE THAT SHES WHISPERING
ОтветитьGood to know Jinkx herself knows she was very favored that season. There was a time I was criticizing her winning and I was straight up called dumb, that didn't know nothing about branding and shouldn't be talking sh!t about things I don't understand by her lovely fans.
ОтветитьYvie’s one of the most underrated winners across the franchise and I don’t understand why she’s so under-appreciated by the producers and judges of DR. I’ve always found her drag so unique, intelligent and interesting.
Even though I really enjoyed All Stars 7, I definitely noticed something was off whenever it came to the way Yvie was judged, her runways were stellar, she did really good in the challenges and her final lip sync against Raja was so good but for some reason, the judges just weren’t that impressed 🤷🏽♂️
Also love some of the questions this interviewer asked without coming across as exploitative, like the questions about the negative critique Yvie got from the judges and what happened at the reunion were asked very respectively.
Does Yvie have Vitiligo or did she bleach her facial hair. Serious question.
ОтветитьI remember her winners panel at dragcon NYC. She was sooooo high. Or nervous or both. She explained all her runwsys and hoe she made them....we got to tahe pieces off her pink octopus runway
Ответить“Go out. Be gay. Buy a book.”’~ Yvie Oodly 😂😍
ОтветитьI live to yvie. Her laugh is everything. Even on S11, I really respected her attitude toward the art form (an an artist I could relate). I wish we got the real yvie experience on AS7. Makes me sad to hear that the judges were mean and then didn’t even air it 🙄
ОтветитьI love that Yvie's style and performance stood out a mile from the get go, and gotta love that voice and Iconic laugh too ! Also, Yvie is so incredibly HOT out of drag, too ( She got it from her papa ) :) xx <3 xx
Ответитьit is unbelievable that Yvie did not win any money
Ответитьi'm super impressed that she made most of her outfits. i am obsessed with queens who make their own shit it makes me sad that they couldn't see her growth. i see it.
ОтветитьThanks for plugging that book, i preordered.
ОтветитьI like, Yvie Oddly because she's TOP....mmmmmmmmmmmm I"m here waiting Gurl!!! And she makes me laugh, which is the cherry on TOP!!
