Wonderful video, I sat down to look up this type of information and you had it ready for me. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьIm so happy to hear u do that many layers! I do that many too and everyone i hear says no more than 4 😳
ОтветитьAwesome video!! Would I have to wait the 72 hours with other epoxy brands before giving as gifts? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhy do you have to wait 72hrs? Gold ! This video is gold!
ОтветитьJessica what is the max amount of layers you'll put on a cup?
ОтветитьPlease please make a smooth chunky glitter video, this was so helpful
ОтветитьThanks for going back to basics on this tute! I am just a beginner and feel sometimes am overwhelmed by all of your beautiful designs! But I will get there, with your help! Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing with us.
ОтветитьOne more question 😊 when I use fast set epoxy for glitter tumbler, does it have to be rotating or I could just leave it on drying rack o upside down on my stand for tumblers , thank you so much for your help 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьThank you Jessica for the video. What I want to ask do you really have to keep part B warm? I saw somewhere where they say it won’t create a lot of bubbles.
ОтветитьDo you use polyester glitter or craft glitter ? Which do you prefer and why?? I just realized there was 2 different kinds lol 🤦♀️
ОтветитьGood morning!!!!! You are an amazing vlogger!!!! I love all of your tutorials!!! Very detailed, but straight to the point!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
ОтветитьWould love to see you do a distressed American Flag tumbler tutorial
ОтветитьThis is so helpful! I’d love an entire beginner series/playlist also!
ОтветитьThank you so much! Great video
ОтветитьI absolutely love your videos! I have taken a few of your designs and made them whilst pushing play and pause and play and pause a million times! Ur videos are super easy to follow!
ОтветитьThank you so much for doing this. Very helpful.
ОтветитьThank you for the help. Do you have any advice for the chunky glitter. I have a hard time keeping it smooth with that glitter.
ОтветитьThank you so much for taking the time out to explain this. I get so frustrated that I haven't perfected the epoxy methods and have also had pitting, and or small bumps. I realize its just because I'm impatient. I always learn something new when watching your videos. Quick Coat from Alumilite is my favorite, and I always use the 10% code!
ОтветитьVery Informative. I always appreciate when you explain the "why" behind what you are doing. I appreiciate the "deep dives" into the info. Please keep them coming. Thanks MUCH!!
ОтветитьI don't know how I missed this one. I needed this so very much ❤. I would love to see a more indepth. This is so great for a newbie like me.
ОтветитьJessica thank you for this and all your videos. I can't wait for each video to come out. I have a couple of questions: 1) I have been having problems lately with getting all the bubbles out of the epoxy even with the torch. Is there something I'm doing wrong or forgetting? Any suggestions would be helpful. 2) Another issue I'm having is the epoxy looks smooths but when you run your hand around the cup I can feel slight ridges? Can you help me understand why? 3) Can epoxy get old?
Thank you again for all you share with us.
Yes please on more in depth epoxy methods
ОтветитьJessica, I would love to see a how to video on fixing the "one little bump" on a final coat. I've heard of people using 2000 grit sandpaper and then a polish, but I've never seen a video on it.
ОтветитьDid I miss the pare about how much u put after vinyl and sealing ? Great video!
ОтветитьMuffin tops. Oh there's a name for it! My first cups had that and I finally figured how to clear that up. Great video. Thank you.
ОтветитьI have a question. I want to try Alumilite epoxy. If I wanted to buy just one to start with for pens and tumblers, should I choose Alumilite Amazing Clearcast? Time is not an issue at this point and not ready to buy Plus until I find out how the Amazing Clearcast is working for me. I want the clear, super shiny finish you get on your tumblers. Thanks for your time.
ОтветитьCan you use epoxy on like dollar store plastic cups, or tumblers that are not stainless steel?
ОтветитьHi Jessica. Thank You so much for this very informative tutorial. One question: Are you afraid of the more layers of epoxy you apply, the chances are higher that the tumbler will end up with a muffin top or bubble butt?
ОтветитьCan you put part A and part B together and then mix them together or do you have to mix part A by itself and Part B by itself and then mix both parts together?
ОтветитьI have done my first cup and I can’t seem to get a smooth finish. The leopard spots seem to be thick from the glitter and I can’t get enough epoxy on there to get it smooth. I’ve done 5 coats. Is that normal?
ОтветитьYes more in depth about rims. I struggle so much. Thanks 😊
ОтветитьWhat did you use for that gold trim around the cheetah
ОтветитьPLEASE HELP! I AM VERY NEW TO THIS AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY MY 2ND TUMBLER WAS TURNING OUT AND AFTER THE LAST COAT OF RESIN, I NOTICED IN THE MORNING THAT THE RESIN BECAME CLOUDY!! IT WENT FROM SHINY AND BEAUTIFUL TO DULL AND CLOUDY!! IS THERE A WAY TO FIX THIS? PLEASE HELP ME!
ОтветитьThank you so much for all the wisdom you share. Anytime I have a question you always have the answer. You are amazing!!!!
ОтветитьI am struggling so bad with epoxy 😭 I use the same epoxy as you and I have sooo many bubbles on my cups. My house is 70 degrees. I pour equally. I pour the thicker one on top of the thinner, stir for 3 mins, hit with a heat gun for 5 seconds, then let it sit for about 5 mins. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I'm hoping you can help me! A big please and thank you ❤️
ОтветитьThank you for being an enabler to this noob to tumbler making! 😂 I just bought some of the quick cast and some of the UV resistant resin. RIP my bank account. 😂😂 Send help. I need that, or a chain and lock around my dang bank account. 😂
ОтветитьHey to my favorite tumbler maker! I watched your video as my kids were being super loud but I don't think you touched on this subject on a regular (non glitter) tumbler. I'm working on a tumbler for a customer. It's just a flat black photo tumbler. I did 1 med coat for the first coat, sanded lightly after drying & then I did a pretty thick coat for the second coat. I was expecting to need to do more coats (as I always wind up needing for one reason or another) BUT, this tumbler looks perfect right now after 2 generous coats of epoxy. It's smooth & everything is covered well. So my question is... is another coat necessary if I've already achieved the final look??? I don't want to let it go if it really needs another coat for some reason but I don't want to epoxy again if it's not really necessary. What do you think?
As always... love your work, love your videos, love YOU!!! You're amazing & such an inspiration.
Btw, your hair looked SUPER CUTE (half up & curled) in the beginning of the video with the first coat of epoxy on that tumbler. ♥️
How do you measure 2.5 evenly? I feel like all the measuring cups start at 20mL
ОтветитьThis video is so helpful and informative! Thank you so much!! (ps. I took notes!) See you in Orlando
ОтветитьDo you have the measurements on pens?
ОтветитьDo you still stand by this epoxy?
ОтветитьYour videos are amazing! I've taken detailed notes so I can tackle my first tumbler! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
ОтветитьI love all the info you give. I just started making tumblers. I have made 5 so far. I have been using Nasubi Resin from Amazon. Lately having trouble with it getting a crack look in my final coat and after 3 or 4 days or even longer when I wash them the go dull and loose their shine. Have you used this before? Is it me or the resin? How long before I can wash them?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. I tried 2 types of epoxy on my glitter tumbler. It was the first time trying epoxy tumbler. Both were crap, it was all bumpy, did not look good, I started over 4 times and I was starting to think that I was the problem or my glitter were. I have seen your video and decided to try alumilite. It saved my last mug. I was on the 2nd coat and it was looking like shit. 3rd coat, alumilite, SAVED. It looks amazing. I am now watching all your tutorials. My project is a ''baby it's cold outside'' with snowflakes peekaboo. I am now confident it's going to look good. You are really the best teacher. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThis was great.
ОтветитьWhere can I get the thingy you put the arm into sry new to all this and don’t know correct name
ОтветитьDo you ever use Uv resin in tumblers? Why or why not?
ОтветитьHow long should I keep the tumbler spinning for each layer of Expoxy?
ОтветитьThank you so much! I just started my first cups today and faced Sooo many problems. Hopefully I’m able to fix them with your tips . Can’t wait to see the results!
