Nissan has really gone down the drain in the last 15 years badly. They are at or below the level of Kia or Hyundai these days.

I had an Infiniti G37 and I had a Q50 3.7 I moved on to a scat pack than an AMG Mercedes the Mercedes was the worst and now I got a Tesla model 3 performance I couldn't be happier. They definitely had some old-school charm and I miss the times I had in my twenties with the G37 the Q50 revved a little bit higher they both revved very high and that was rare for that era to rev over 7,000 RPM most other cars couldn't do that. I remember seeing the 3.7 Q50 beat the Chevy SS. I give Infinity credit though for discontinuing the Q50 without changing the body style clearly they're sending a message that this was the car. I think internal combustion is outdated in general with how fast the new model 3 performance despite me saying this I still miss my infinity's it brings back memories

Imo they should bring back the G name. Call the base VR30 the G40, call the red sport the G50 or the G50 Red Sport. Bring back the factory LSD, make it more of a driver's car, make it properly desirable. Then make an SUV version of the G with the same performance options to compete with the X3 and Q5 and it'll sell better than a GV70 imo

Get out of here Boost, Nissan has the bread to compete. I say they come out with comp against the M-cars. The GTR is proof, and the VR35 massaged right, can get it done.

I’m a car salesman who has spent the last 2 months at an Infiniti dealership. Slowest dealership I’ve ever worked at. On a weekday I’m lucky to get one up. Next week I’m switching to another dealership selling a much more popular brand. I have not been impressed by Infiniti. I previously sold Hyundai and Kia, and the technology was MUCH better. Better smart cruise control. Better backup cameras. Better surround view monitors. Blind spot monitors. I was shocked at how dated this “luxury” line is. I’m glad to be leaving Infiniti behind.

😢damn. I’m still enjoying my g37x sedan though. I was considering getting a Rs of either q50 or 60. The q60 is one is the sexiest coupes out.

The car was ancient they need a new chasis we know that won't happen, nissan doesn't have $5 right now.

Damn I always wanted to replace my g35 with a q60 then I got a 435i then got a b58. Still got mad love for the Gs infiniti can’t abandon the heritage like that especially with only 1 model run.

Q50 biggest issue was they didnt have 6mt vr30 options. When you loose the enthusiast/core audience you’re bound to fail. 😂 last great skyline was the v36. I sure do love the v37’s but boy did they fumble.

They are working on the successor they already showed some pictures of the concept

Yes. As a 2016 q50 red sport owner that has babied all its life now I can rest assure that its value will go up.

My love for this car started with the 300 z. Then i got a g35. Now i'm on my second q50 red sport. Its such a good car i bought it twice but went form the 2014 3.7 to a 2017 3.0 tt. This car never stopped being fun to drive.

I've had my 2017 awd red sport q50 since brand new. All I've done is maintenance, and it's still as good as new. Off the line, it will take almost everyone stock. The car has held up good. There's so many features in my 2017 you can't even get in a new model. We may keep this car until a bad driver takes it away from us. That's typically when we upgrade. Theres so many bad drivers i just expect them now.
